Couldn't have been nicer and more welcoming - they even called me 30 minutes before my reservation to let me know that they had a cancellation and so would be able to seat me (solo diner) at a table inside (rather than outside). Service was leisurely, no one rushed me and I enjoyed a fantastic margarita and blue corn enchiladas with veggies. Was a great way to say goodbye to Albuquerque before heading to the airport.

Balloon fiesta Great place

Great ambience…..friendly staff….excellent service and food! Our appetizer, guacamole and chips, was very good! I ordered the empanada appetizer for my entree, not knowing it was sweet….but it was good. The other entree was the Shrimp Enchiladas, and they were yummy! Large serving! Margarita…grand gold…was excellent! Dessert of chocolate torte was awesome! Great place to dine!

Historical place, service was wonderful and excellent margarita selection. Food is a bit pricey and the quesadilla appetizer was cool. Bartender was super.

Lovely evening with friends and family enjoying good food, great service, and Old Town ambiance in a cozy corner booth.

A great place for an authentic experience! The restaurant has a New Mexican atmosphere, the food is fresh and delicious, and the staff took care of us. I didn't get the name of our waiter, I think he might've been the manager, but he was so attentive to us, he didn't miss a beat with our needs!!!! We will definitely go back there!

It's got a great atmosphere which, for better or worse, seems to appeal to lots of the Old-Town tourists. Most of my Burqueno friends have never heard of it (though I did see Mayor Keller there one time). Their steaks are good but their cocktails are the reason I keep going back. You MUST try the smoked, mezcal margarita! They also make my favorite enchilada in Albuquerque with shredded beef and blue-corn tortillas. Being a steak house, their beef is obviously of superior quality.

Very expensive. You’d expect a “wow” experience for the price but it was just regular food. The steak had lots of fat and the veggies were over cooked. The chocolate cake was very good. So if you want to spend a lot go there but don’t expect much.

EXCELLENT New Mex food. Wife and I both ordered the enchiladas, she got chicken, I got pork and a side of a Chile Relleno. The meat was moist and flavorful, and the red sauce was perfection. Not too spicy, with great flavor. The Chile Relleno was crispy and excellent. My wife also got the “Some Like It Tart” margarita, and they weren’t kidding, it’s tart! Also, we’re not 100% sure, but we think the ghost may have grabbed my wife butt in the ladies room, LOL.Highly recommend!

I dined inside and wish I had asked to sit outside, although the outside space is small and there were smokers in the space. My meal of shrimp enchiladas was fairly basic but tasty -- and I appreciated the side of sautéed veggies instead of the usual refried or black beans. The server was great -- personable and professional. It was overall good dining experience.

This restaurant is a local treasure! We had a wonderful evening and received a lot of personal attention from the owner, who talked to us about their history and business. Wonderful atmosphere, wine, and food. The wine is very reasonably priced, which is rare for any restaurant these days and our food was impeccable. In this day of corporate, chain restaurants, it's really nice to dine in a locally owned, authentic, creative establishment and have such a wonderful evening.

I requested outdoors, but they only had three tables on a small porch. It was quiet and we enjoyed watching the street activity. It’s in a very old building that used to be a saloon and the current owner has added on to it. She gave my husband a tour and he said it was very nice inside. We both had shrimp entrees and they were fabulous. I had a high noon margarita which had cucumber in it that made it delicious.

The menu on their website IS NOT the menu when you go in!!! We were looking forward to a special evening with high end gourmet type choices but instead had to settle for a very casual, moderate at best meal. Nothing special. They have combined their lunch and dinner menu with very limited choices. They blamed it on the very popular excuse, "problem with the supply chain." Well I have news for them - there are plenty of short ribs, steaks, chicken, salmon at the store and I'm a great cook but I just wanted a nice evening out. I'll go to a big chain restaurant the next time!!!

In town for a conference and four of us dined at High Noon on a Wednesday evening. Beautiful interior decor. The service was outstanding and the food magnificent.
