I found this place on yelp because we drove long distance with our kids through this Japanese restaurant near Route 40, I ordered food online at 2:00pm, I had to bubble at 3:10 to drive here, when I arrived At that time, our order still had a little problem and was cancelled. But the kind-hearted little handsome guy made a new one for us when they were resting, and we are very grateful in our hearts. Let me eat love food even on long trips. The food is delicious, the boss is handsome and kind, I wish the restaurant business is booming!

Had the beef short rib donburi and it was delicious! The ribs were perfectly cooked and the sauce was super tasty. Also got potato croquettes as an appetizer which I recommend. They were perfectly fried and had great flavor. To top it off I had some sort of sparkling plum soda which was fantastic. Inside is a little small but the food was worth the wait and all the staff were kind and courteous. Will be back to try more!Vegetarian options: Several vegetarian options including potato croquettes and vegetable curry.

Food is good, however the food selection is very limited and lots of items are sold out most of the time. I miss their old menu and setup. Aaa

This place was highly recommended to us by multiple people but I can only review this place for dinner. We got there promptly at 530 on a Friday and we were able to get a seat. Looks like the seating is pretty limited tho if you are party bigger than 2. The service was great and the ramen was solid. The broth had a nice creamy and tasteful flavor but was a bit oily. Loved how they gave a whole egg and 2 pieces of charsu in the dish. Overall a solid place if you are looking for a good bowl of ramen.

We've been going here for a few years now and the quality and consistency of the food never ceases to amaze us. We even ordered take out from them during COVID for our anniversary! Support a small business and try them out, you definitely won't regret it!

The waiter was flustered when 3 people walked in the door. He seemed like he didn't know what he was doing. He refused to seat me because I arrived about 5 minutes before my partner. He instead sat the 2 people who came in after me. I didn't make a fuss about it and just left. There are only 4 tables, and only 2 were open, so I could tell that by him not seating me, a third party who came in just after me and the other party of 2 were the only people who would be able to be sat. His reasoning was that "we start to get busy right now, so I can't seat you until the rest of your party arrives." Well if now (11:20 on a Wednesday) is when you start to get busy, then you should be prepared to take 2 two tops. I'm part of your pop, I don't feel like I should have been made to stand and wait when there were 2 open two top tables and 2 parties of 2.I felt this was very silly and a little rude and decided I would prefer to spend my money elsewhere. My husband was disappointed because he really wanted to try your highly rated restaurant. We will try to come again some time and just make a reservation first, but I feel either the waiter's behavior or this policy is off and should be addressed.

Magokoro has a parking lot outside. You seat yourself and scan a barcode to order online, but there is a waiter there that can also take your order. Their hours are really weird: they're closed Sunday-Tuesday and sometimes close in between lunch and dinner. Definitely check their hours before you head over. Note that their ramen is only available during dinner time. I ordered the Shoyu Ramen ($12.50) and it was a filling portion. I liked the texture of the egg noodle and they don't skimp on the extras they put in, like bamboo shoots and the egg. The broth was also really flavorful and hearty. TLDR: Clean Japanese store that serves good ramen, but only during dinner time.

By far the best curry and overall Japanese food I had here in Albuquerque so far. The curries are all amazing during lunch along with the rice bowls. Dinner wise the ramen is probably the best ramen in town but a bit disappointed by the lack of hand made noodles, a bit spoiled there on that part.Definitely come here to try to food! Only wished it was a bit closer to where I lived.

Amazing Food. Started with three appetizers which were each delicious and unique. The green Chile broth Ramen was to die for. My wife had a different main dish that was equally as awesome. Service was amazing! Magokoro has great food and vibes!!

We arrived for dinner and there was a short line but we got a table quickly. Seating is very limited. There was only one server, but we were able to order online via the QR code and app at the table. It was easy to do. There was some confusion since we had never been there before, and weren't told immediately how to order. Once we asked, the server explained that we could order with her (which would take longer), or through the app. We chose the app. Drinks and food came quickly and was delicious! I was happy to see a vegetarian option with fried tofu (yum) and my husband got the green chile ramen which he said was delicious even though he's not a fan of green chile everything. Since you pay when you order, once we were done eating, it was quick to leave. I loved this place!

This is the first time I have given a 1/5. I was on my vacation and have one night stay in Albuquerque. I went to the restaurant and ordered a beef rice bowl. The system shows the food would be ready after fifteen minutes. After twenty minutes waiting, I was served with the wrong food, a curry rice bowl. I said it was not me. Finally, I got my food after thirty minutes waiting. Also, people who arrived after me got served. The server explained that it was because of the system. Besides, based on my experiences at Japan and US, I give the food 2/5. Not good for me. If you are visiting Albuquerque, please try other restaurants!!!

The price is fair to the portion of the food. The curry is very subtle in flavor but not bland. The potato croquettes were crunchy but also so soft like potato pillows. Everyone in our group love their dish. You can also order on the QR code so it’s very convenient. It’s a pretty small place and there was a line at 1pm. The menu for lunch and dinner is different so if you want ramen you want the dinner menu

Went here for a lunch meetup group. The price is fair to the portion of the food. The curry is very subltle in flavor but not bland. The potato croquettes were crunchy and also so soft like a potato pillow. Everyone in the group also love their group. You can also order by the QR code so it's very convenient. It is a pretty small place and there was a good line at around 1 when we came. The menu for lunch and dinner are different so if you want ramen you have to book for dinner.
