Hate to leave a bad review for them, their food is fantastic, but I don't know if they're open or closed or even still in business. Nobody answers a phone or social media, haven't seen them in a long time... just assuming they're gone. Even when I could contact them last year, they were hard to get ahold of, so either they're going downhill or are doing so well they don't have to bother dealing with customers.

The brisket sandwich is so good. The beans and the corn are too spicy. Not chile spicy but pepper spicy. So spicy you can't even enjoy the sandwich. Next time no corn or beans for us.

Some of the best barbecue I've had in the city. Had a brisket and hot link sandwich. The brisket was super tender with just the right amount of smoke flavor to it (not too smokey, not too bland). The hot-link had a good amount of spice to it as well. The sauce they have is really good too, but the meat doesn't really need it to be honest. The bun that they give with it is also good, it's basically an 8 inch roll as opposed to a burger bun.The only complaint I could have is that the roll wasn't cut when we got it, but since we were taking it home, that really wasn't an issue. Looking forward to trying their other meats. Think I just found my new bbq spot.

Ordered thru Doordash, Dasher messeged us that the "food truck" is not there?? They didn't confirm the order, so we canceled the order. I tried calling the number no answer, not a good way to run a business. Also it should be listed on here and delivery apps that it's a food truck. Don't complain that u don't make money and blame "Covid" when u can't run a business ?

As we were placing our order a man who was leaving said this was the best barbecue in town (owner or relative maybe?). He was right! Ribs are fantastic, pulled pork is Smokey and delicious, and our side of corn fresh and flavorful.

Disappointed with the brisket (suspicious cut of meat.) Expected sliced Austin style BBQ. The so-called “brisket” was chopped up into a pile, full of grease, pieces of gristle, and had very little BBQ flavor. Tasted more like oven pot roast. The sides of corn and beans also had no flavor and tasted like they were out of a can.

Ordered through grubhub. We Ordered one special sandwich and one brisket sandwich plate. We got one special sandwich and one pulled pork, not brisket. They also did not include BBQ sauce. Just dry meat and bread, not even the correct meat on one of them.

I pulled up to try some pulled pork and hot links and I'm still sitting in the parking lot eating. Best bbq I've had in new mexico. I'll definitely be back alot more! The owner is a good guy as well. Try it!

Excellent bbq! AIso a bit cheaper than what it shows on the maps menu.. But don't use the Google map direction it has you turn left...just go straight on Giegos rd it's right behind the patio place. Glad I found it!

BBQ was pretty dry but was okay once I added sauce from home.

The proprietor of Nomads is an exceptional person with a great wit and love for BBQ. He had blown through everything for the holidays but had some brisket left. Very good, high quality with the fat rendered perfectly into the meat. Give him a try, he will take care of you.

Hands down the best smoked meat in ABQ! They catered my wedding with halal meats for my Muslim family. The whole family STILL talks about the food with awe. They're all a great bunch and Theo is one of my favorite people. We love them so much. Couldn't recommend them more!

Had a party of 25 guests for a home party. Theo and his family came through with a bunch of great food. It was all delicious and he even threw in a little of his son’s excellent mac & cheese as a sampler. Our guests were very impressed and even took home the little that was left. The party was a success and I’ll definitely be back.

This is a review of Nomads inside of Isleta amphitheater. The food is pretty good but the portions were really small especially for $13. I had some brisket and some pulled pork. Food prices are always high at concerts so it was expected to be a little more expensive but damn put some food on the plate. The service flat out sucked. I don't know what was going on between the cashier and the cook but it certainly carried over into the way we were treated. Normally when you tell someone thank you and leave them a tip you expect some kind of acknowledgment but nothing just a spaced out stare from the young lady and a pissed off cook lol. Anyways I read great reviews about the actual restaurant and so I'll probably go in and try it out but I'm not giving them any more of my money at the concerts. Two thumbs down from me.
