Best place to get paletas and a taste of Mexico in the goodies here! I love every paleta we have tried, the aguas are so good, the fruit bowls are so fresh and delicious and the cheesy chips are the absolute BEST!!!! This is the most delicious dessert I've ever had in Albuquerque. Everything is made fresh, from scratch, without any artificial colors or sweeteners. The owner was friendly, helpful, and happy to let us taste a couple of different items while here. I built a custom respado (shaved ice) with tamarind, chili and chimoy sauce, and fresh mango and pineapple on top. Run, don't walk to this place now. Your summer won't be complete without these treats! The owner makes the ice cream, paletas, aguas frescas and syrup for the raspados (shaved ice) from scratch. He was churning homemade ice cream as we came in. They also have classic Mexican snacks - strawberries and cream, elote, papitas con chile, and fruit cocktail. I'm lucky this place is in my neighborhood!
