Reasonably priced. I had the pistachio and it was very nutty which I like. My daughter had the Mexican chocolate, it was a little too sweet but otherwise delicious.
Run, don't walk to this place now. Your summer won't be complete without these treats! The owner makes the ice cream, paletas, aguas frescas and syrup for the raspados (shaved ice) from scratch. He was churning homemade ice cream as we came in. They also have classic Mexican snacks - strawberries and cream, elote, papitas con chile, and fruit cocktail. I'm lucky this place is in my neighborhood!
Best place to get paletas and a taste of Mexico in the goodies here! I love every paleta we have tried, the aguas are so good, the fruit bowls are so fresh and delicious and the cheesy chips are the absolute BEST!!!! I don't know what kind of cheese sauce is used but it is so tasty!!! I actually took a friend to try it here and have told many people about it! I hope they have a successful business and do well to keep it going strong! I like this place over other competitors and you will enjoy the goodies!!! Please give them a try, from a loyal customer!!!
Pretty good. Had a mango paleta with chile and chamoy. The mango paleta was natural and certainly tasted like it. I just prefer a spicier paleta. Customer service was good and allowed us to have a taste of a few ice cream flavors.
Efrain was so sweet. They samples were so amazing. Everything is natural and so tasteful. It was so hard to choose.
This is the most delicious dessert I’ve ever had in Albuquerque. Everything is made fresh, from scratch, without any artificial colors or sweeteners. The owner was friendly, helpful, and happy to let us taste a couple of different items while here. I built a custom respado (shaved ice) with tamarind, chili and chimoy sauce, and fresh mango and pineapple on top. Their avocado, pistachio, and Mexican chocolate helados (gelato-like ice cream) were INCREDIBLE, too. I’m sure the other flavors were equally delicious and will find out as I continue to go back for more!

So I really do love the treats from this particular shop but I've now come to their storefront two times this month after their stated opening hours and the open sign is up but the doors are locked and no one is inside. This is extremely frustrating as a customer and I'm considering not ever coming back due to this. Really sad because their raspados and paletas are delicious.
This place is fantastic. A true pleasure. The ice cream is delicious. The atmosphere is friendly. The horchata is on point.
Best paletas in Albuquerque very flavorful not watered down I reccomend the avocado or pineapple
This place is pretty delicious. They take this insane concept of using no artificial flavors. They are super friendly and when I was there they showed us how they hand aping the ice cream. I recommend the Oreo ice cream.
Muy rico todo y saludable completamente diferente a lo que he probado
todo muy rico y un excelente servicio
Awesome little shop with handmade treats made with care. Can't wait to go back. Super friendly customer service, and you can try different flavors and customize your treat!
Best raspados in town. Natural flavors the way authentic raspados taste like. My new favorite place.
Good gelato style ice cream!
Great flavor on the ice cream .
Fresh fruit. What a concept! This little snack shop is right next to my nails place. I grabbed a fruit cup which comes in one size. They only serve what's in season and it was delicious! Not a bad way to spend five bucks.
PK2 Helados I think is Spanish for "Big Fresh TASTE!!!" At least that's been my experience on several visits. I have had a few flavors of paletas (with & sans toppings), jamaica (sp) & horchata aqua frescas, as well as his mucho delicious gelatos. Winner for novelty is his avocado paleta, but I've had no clinkers in any of the treats I've tried. They've all been good. Try 'em and you'll see. True actual backstory on the PK2 name for those who, like me, don't speak Spanish as our native tongue and don't initially get the word play, as told by the *EXTREMELY* friendly owner is as follows. The two letters P and K in Spanish are pronounced "pay" and "kah". The number 2 is pronounced "dōs". If you say it fast, it comes out "paykahdōs", which is spelled in Spanish pecados, which is the word for "sins". So the dude is dishing up sinfully fresh and delicious gelatos, paletas, aqua frescas, and other sundry assorted treats at totally reasonable prices given the quality of the product and gold standard customer service. He uses all fresh, natural ingredients to make his bodacious hand crafted treats and drinks. I've watched him twirling a bowl of gelato-in-the-making in ice bath while softly whisking... whisking... whisking... whisking... the contents until it became mesmerizing in it's practiced repetition. Here was a maestro ever so patiently crafting a symphony of flavors with all the expertise and attention he could muster. And the exquisite flavors of his wares reflects that attention and care. PK2 is easily my favorite paleta joint in the Duke City for exactly this care and the resultant high quality product that comes from it. Like another Yelper I discovered this hidden emporium of tastiness while hitting up Quarter Celtic Brewpub right across the mini-plaza that's tucked under the Ace Hardware Store on the corner of San Mateo and Lomas. The underground parking is great to keep your wheels out of the sun on hot 'Burque afternoons. So grab a place in the shade and "Hie thee hence" to PK2 Helados for a taste of one of the finest cool treats a Burqueño could hope for.
