Fantastic tacos! Real Mexican style. Huge variety of the Mexican standards. Great and friendly service. I don’t understand some of the grumpy reviews. I’ve always received friendly fast service. $2 is a steal for a taco of this quality. My new favorite Albuquerque restaurant.
The authentic Mexican tacos {asada, al pastor} are delicious, but the price has gone from $1 a year + ago to $2 now. Have to ask for any of salsa bar items if driving through.The fresh Shrimp Ceviche Tostadas are super delicious. BUT the price went up from $5 for a medium-sized cup a month ago, to $6 for a small cup with maybe 5 little pieces of shrimp and 1 small piece of avocado. Honestly I love the simplicity of this place. Sure there are some items that are just standard Mexican food staples but let me just say- this plate has my absolute favorite Gorditas de Maiz. I usually get the carnitas but they're ALL good. I can't comment on most of the other menu items because I basically come here just for Gorditas ?
