I had a lovely time on the back deck listening to the river and breeze while I enjoyed a cinnamon roll and breakfast burrito. The previous night, I had a really good espresso martini. Staff are friendly! Counter service, light menu, disposable dishes.

They have good coffee and great atmosphere when they are open. I live in Ruidoso and it seems they are always closed.Only food I’ve had a chance to try is a tomato basil soup which was good, could use more croutons though.

When I lived here I would do almost all of my studying on the deck outside. This place is outstanding. Great drinks (coffee, tea) and yummy food. The location is awesome, and the vibe is great for kicking back and relaxing. Located in midtown, with all of the shops in a walkable distance. I would definitely recommend Sacred Grounds to anyone visiting ruidoso, and strongly suggest trying their London fog!

Such a fun place to spend a Friday evening. Live music with a great cherry mule and mango margaritas. The staff was fun and friendly. A fire pit indoors to sit around and warm your cold body! Loved the place. We had the meatball sandwich and Chicken Alfredo. Both were yummy! Might consider sharing an entree' if you are going to partake in adult libations! There are also a few coffee and drink related gifts sprinkled in the front coffee shoppe and back bar area. Give them a try!

Why wait for hours to eat at Cafe Rio when you can have good pizza at Sacred Grounds - and no wait (maybe I shouldn't tell anyone this, or I may have to wait in the future).

Gotta order the pizza rolls. Cheese fries are good. Salads are good. Patio is awesome. Really great place.

Small meatball sub like a 6" you get at Subway. Cold in the middle. Flavorless cheese. Definitely not worth $12! I guess that's what you get in a tourist town. I asked for a medium chai latte. It was huge. Sub and chai lunch came to over $20. Feeling ripped off. At least the chips are a brand name.

I don't know what happened. I don't know if there is new management. This place used to be amazing. We loved visiting living in Alamogordo. Now coming back to visit the staff is rude, no menus to be found and short reply's to our questions. The women working the front counter seems sweet but isn't fluent in the menu as she has just been employed. But the rest of the staff seems to be disregarding to her. A women quietly came up and asked for Her cinnamon roll to be warmed up while someone was making our coffee the gentleman rudely replied "we will be with you, as you can see we are helping other counters!" Very rude and condescending. The outdoor is still beautiful the ambiance is still wonderful when not dealing with staff. But definitely not the standard they use to uphold

Ordinary coffee in a paper cup; powdered like scrambled eggs. Cold hash browns. This at one time was a superb place. I will Never be back. Go somewhere else

Stopped in on a Friday morning for breakfast. Sat on nice terrace outside on a beautiful day. Hubby and I both ordered vegetable scrambles. Came with toast and hash browns. Eggs were scrambled wet and gooey. Toast was dry and no flavor. Hashbrowns were crunchy. Iced tea was good. Hubby went to find manager to explain our dissatisfaction, but no one around to tell. Counter staff weren't around either. Anyways, won't eat there anytime soon. Maybe we will give it another try some other visit.

Always my favorite place to go kick back and relax when in Ruidoso New Mexico. Relaxing and beautiful view. Friendly and helpful staff. A must go to when in town.

Went by around 8:30 am but they were not open yet. If you're a coffee shop I'd think that the 7 to 8 o'clock crowd would be important. Went back later, after they opened. There was one other group in the shop. We ordered a caramel macchiato and an Americano. Waited about ten minutes while one of the employees made their own drink and another went somewhere looking for caramel syrup. When the drinks finally arrived it was not worth the wait. The macchiato was just coffee with milk (not steamed milk) and lukewarm. The Americano was not even as strong as medium roast from my Keurig. So, our opinion of the coffee and the staff was that both were indifferent at best.
