Clearwater Seafoods - Retail Store

On the weekend I was picking up my preorder to which I was assured there was discount for Vets. Just out the door I realized the discount had not been asked about or applied so I returned to the cash where I was asked nicely what else I needed. When I explained and showed my card the tone changed immediately and I was told no no we don’t / can’t do that. I was very disappointed in the tone and attitude…. Not impressed at all!

Always great experiences and good sea food

A honest and reliable business, highly recommended! I travelled to Halifax from Toronto and wanted to purchase a product from their retail store at Halifax Stanfield International Airport on my way flying back home. Unfortunately something went wrong and I can’t get what I wanted (NOT Clearwater fault). I contacted their customer service and shared my experience, and they provided a perfect solution (much better than I expected) to fix my problem! I really appreciate their effort and I will be their loyal customer from now on!!

This time we ate raw lobster in Hali.

Lobster store is a recommendation on the Internet, in fact, Hali, such as Clearwater, there are a lot of aquatic stores, look on Google map will be a lot.

One of the characteristics of aquatic stores here is that they have a lot of peripherals, just like the COWS ice cream store that sells funny souvenirs.

There are mugs with funny graphics on them, and of course, most of the funny has to do with lobsters.

There are also lobster plush toys, refrigerator stickers. You won't be able to resist taking a few home with you.

Lobster prices are categorized and priced on a gradient with reference to gasoline, and are also categorized as Premium , selects and choice. Prices are similar, so you can not help but choose the best.

The “cold chain” packaging for guest pickup is professional and sturdy. Very professional feeling.

Of course, the saleswoman on the day was very friendly and welcoming.

I went back and cooked it briefly, and the lobster was tightly packed, incredibly flavorful, and even slightly sweet.

Inexperienced staff with no lodge about the product. Left and had a great experience up the road at the fishermen's market.

Bought 5lbs of mussels and guy put bag into a brown paper bag and the bag broke pretty quickly and made a mess on the car. Guy working behind counter didn't have any advice on how to store the mussels for a day in the fridge. Overall service was lacking.

One can never go Wrong, I get medium Lobster's for my 87 year old mom.

The staff was very helpful, I must mention the duty manager on Sunday 21st July, he helped to resolve a problem about the product I was buying and resolved it in a very professional manner.

Great lobster anytime

I have been in today and funny enough that the previous person that left a review about this lady that works at clear water. Her name was Victoria. She took the time to help me out and get me what I needed. I ended up going home and cooking a really nice sea food pasta which I got a lot of compliments on. Thank you clear water and a special Thanks to your staff and especially Victoria

Rude cashier/fish monger Victoria she looked as interested in talking about the fish as a fence post. I won't be back been coming here for 30 years. Selection of fish in the display case sparse nothing well presented. All smoked products 2 to 3 pieces in the display case. Every question I asked about product was meant with short answers and zero effort. I guess this place died when Gris sold out the business. Pretty sad didn't even want to use the gift card someone purchased for me. Fishermen's market will have my thousands of dollars of business going forward. Lost customer for life I'll let my friends know to avoid this place.
