Great place! Loved the atmosphere and staff. They accidentally messed up my order but very very willingly and apologetically fixed it! Staff also made a great recommendation for which sandwich I should get and it was delicious. Super kind and outgoing people :)

We went here twice while visiting Halifax because we liked it so much, both times we came for brunch, it was deliciously fresh and well made. I specifically recommend the veggie bagel and lemon square. It also has a very calm and nice vibe.

this place is more expensive than a coffee shop in Toronto. Got the Coburg bagel and a tea ($18). Pretty mediocre. I could've made a better bagel and saved the money.

Lovely little coffee place. Amazing service and people here! The food is fresh and delicious as well as coffee. Prices are fair. You can stay and work, the decor and ambiance are just great. Many gluten free options. I'll come back anytime

Roughly $50 after tax for two sandwiches that tasted alright and two iced coffees that had coffee grounds in the bottoms of both cups. They were out of a few items on the menu as well. Not a bad dining experience, but the pricing was not reflected in the quality of my experience. I had their classic sandwich once on another occasion and I liked it a fair amount, and if you’re getting a sandwich and nothing else then the bill is more reasonable than the previous meal, around $15 after tax & tip for a sandwich. Will probably try again in a few weeks or months to reevaluate.

A very good atmosphere. Good service staff. Good food, and licensed.

Great place for coffee and conversation. Affordable drinks and food. Ample seating. Good service, too. Love the ambience!

Great food, but the staff can be very rude depending on the day and ever since covid began I dislike that are usually closed. The hours say open until 7 but they're usually closed shortly after 5. It's a waste of time to walk there on my work break as this has happened many times

Carl and I dropped in to the Coburg Social for a coffee and a bite. Just love the atmosphere, the staff, the vibe....and of course the coffee and the food. One star was lost due to the high noise level, But that can't be helped. Great place to go.

One star is too many, way overpriced for breakfast. The bagel was cold and only two strips of bacon on the BLT, horrible service over a 40 minute wait only to find out our food was given to someone else. When we finally got it bland and cheaply made. Over priced garbage!
Waited for over 5 minutes in the line, which was 1 person having an extended conversation with the person taking the orders. They seemed to know each other and were having a great chat. Food was so salty I could hardly eat it. Can't say it is a place I would return to.

I don't know what's going on, but it seems as though over the past month something has changed in this place. Vibe is off, most of the staff are different (i'm starting to see less and less of the staff i'm used to seeing) and some of the best menu items are gone. The prices have also gone up and are now pretty much unaffordable to the majority of students living in the area. Its too bad, I loved this place!

The staff were very helpful in helping me decide on what to have since I am not a regular specialty coffee drinker, and snacks to go with the coffee were so yummyWheelchair accessibility: There is a wheel chair ramp, and the shop is open to accommodate a chair

Best morning glory muffins! Went there early in the morning and it was still warm :) They make good London fogs too.
