I take my young granddaughters here. We all love it. Sometimes hard to get parking and a table. Food and service good.

This Cafe was around the corner from our hotel. The breakfasts were fantastic! Delicious bagels with imaginative fillings, and well made lattes. The decor is cute - staff is polite and friendly. I will return!

Friendly. Lovely. Great coffee and latte. I also love their bagel sandwiches. I love that they use local ingredients. Staff is lovely and owners super friendly.

Friendly service and fresh drinks and food. Easily some of the best baked goods I've had downtown. This is what the cafe experience is all about.

Great atmosphere, Wonderful people, Amazing breakfast! Will be making this place my new breakfast spot.

Cute and cozy little coffee shop, not a super big space so it gets a little cramped when its busy but great quality food and handcrafted drinks in cute mugs

Great little coffee shop so hang out and have a coffee in. Love love love the Bollywood latte. They also have tasty treats, which I have yet to sample, I am sure they will not disappoint. Lovely staff. I only wish they had more seating available! It's very squishy!

Best vegan BLT I’ve ever had. As beautiful as tasty! Tomato compote with a dash of sprouts, lovely seitan, and a kiss of dill.

I’ve gotten the occasional coffee from here, but never really realized they had such a big food menu.

Lovely location and awesome food, it's always a fun surprise to see what kind of scones they have each day and they're always delicious. Also lots of opportunities to buy local products which is really great of them to promote

Here is the best scones in the whole Halfax. Nice place in the city center. Happy to start day with coffe and scone. A lot of different flavors.

Cute local cafe with loads of character. Went here for breakfast but ended up getting a brownie (salted rose) and cereal bar (mixture of Fruit Loops, Sugar Crisp and Rice Krispies coated in a fun layer of chocolate and sprinkles). Cereal bar could have been less soggy. Would have liked to try the danishes or croissants...coffee was great. Served in unique chinaware. Price was comparable to Starbucks, which was across the street :p Nice place to sit and chill for awhile!

Great little coffee shop in Halifax! The atmosphere as well as the coffee was good. The place was busy but the service was still quick.

Delightful experience. We had a danish croissant with lemon curd and pistachios, avocado toast (best ever tried), and sunshine yogurt sundae (amazing). I would definitely recommend this lovely place. Staff friendly and helpful!

Had breakfast two days on a row on our vacation trip around Nova Scotia. Although the café is on a main road you can sit outside in the back which is very nice.

Everything you could possibly want in a local cafe! The food was amazing with great selection of sandwiches, the coffee was great, and the service was very cheerful and friendly! Great place to eat

First time customer experience.

The servers were truly friendly and helpful. I ordered an avocado toast with an egg, but first the egg was forgotten, then the egg laden avocado was accidentally dropped on the floor. The first I knew was when a server brought a delicious muffin in compensation as I waited for my avocado egg toast. This blew my carbohydrate budget for two weeks!! But the women serving were cheerful and joyful! What a wonderful way to start off our day.

What an awesome neighborhood cafe! The food was delicious and absolutely beautiful. Coffee was good, too. Staff were friendly and helpful. This place has a nice funky vibe, reminding me of Austin or Portland.

Delicious local and hearty food. Excellent coffee, kind staff and customers!

Cute place, but so weird that their kitchen closes at 2:00 even though they’re open until 7:00. It would be helpful if that said so on their website. It isn’t possible to order soups or anything that isn’t pre-made after 2:00. I was rather disappointed, not to mention confused, when I arrived at 4:30 and couldn’t order fresh food.

Happened to land here as in the area - neat little neighbourhood cafe. Great sandwiches and baked goods. Nice variety of coffees etc.

Fantastic owners and management! They will treat you right!

Love this place! Food, service, and overall vibe is all one of a kind. On top of delicious food (sandwiches, pastries, and coffees), they also sell local, hand crafted items like candles, soaps, and greeting cards. My only complaint is the space is very small so it's hard to rely on getting a table and can feel cramped during the lunch rush. Otherwise, the place is A1!

Wonderful cafe that sets itself apart with delicious, fresh food, wonderful coffee, great atmosphere and friendly staff. Skip the Starbucks across the street, and comes here instead!

Great place for a hearty breakfast and good coffee!! Amazing vibe with 80s music, open windows with fresh breeze and friendly staff!

I had the smoked salmon scramble, one of the best breakfasts I’ve ever had. Fresh, delicious and perfect portion sizes.

A beautiful little spot with a perfect mix of good atmosphere and charm. The lunch and breakfast menu is limited, but appealing; with a quality over quantity approach that I can't be mad at. The drink menu is varied and has something for everyone, from regular drip coffee to fancy lattes. Free WiFi and friendly service is the cherry on top.

I love this place. The owners are so wonderful and always upbeat considering they are run off their feet along with their amazing staff. Never a long wait, no matter how busy and always so personable, you definitely feel like family here!!

Dilly dally is great. The food is lovely and the coffee is awesome. It's no surprise that it's a Halifax favorite! So you may have difficulty sometimes finding a place to sit. I had the eggs on toast and also the egg Sammy. Both were great. Staff are super friendly too! Fantastic for breakfast.

This is my happy place. Brilliant coffee, a wide range of meticulously crafted sweet and savory foods (little bites or full meal, whatever you want). Always buzzing and happy and busy and yet never backed-up or over-crowded. Service is perfect, attentive, zippy, and with a smile. Bonus: buy a bag of Fog City coffee beans to take home. Better yet, buy five bags because you'll be returning for them anyway -- an amazing roast, you'll turn your home kitchen operation into a first rate coffee-house for those days you don't have time to Dilly Dally in person.

i always enjoy this cafe. The staff. food and atmosphere is totally enjoyable and always appreciated. Oh yes the coffee is tasty too. However, this evening I saw fruit flies on the big boy cinnamon buns. When I mentioned it to the staff, I strongly feel they did not take me serious. They were cleaning up as it was nearing closing time. They put the 3 remaining buns in a covered cake dish by the cash register to sell. Is it appropriate to sell pastry's that had fruit flues crawling over them? I consider this as a problem I recommend you to correct this problem
