Our city is so blessed to have HopYard. The staff make everyone feel right at home. Jess and Meredith tend to be the main girls on Mondays, I can't say enough how kindhearted supportive they are to all the open mic players!

The HopYard is my new favourite place to eat. I went on my birthday with my boyfriend and we both got the chicken sammy. It was unreal how good it was. The servers were so nice and efficient, and the atmosphere was super chill. I went again recently with a friend to try this month menu. Once again the whole experience was great. I got the chicken and waffles this time and just wow. So good. New goal for 2023 is coming back at least once a month to try the new menus.

My favourite spot in the city.I've been there a few times already since trying it, and can confirm it's still one of the best foodie experiences in Halifax.The portion size and price on their plates is perfect for sharing and getting a chance to try new things. I'd recommend going with a group that enjoys 'family-style' eating if you're looking to try everything on the menu.If you wait a month, a brand-new menu comes out. It's an experience and a half, and I'd recommend it to anyone who loves trying new exciting food in a comfy atmosphere.Plus, Beer flights. :)

They always have plenty of vegetarian options. Their drink selection is great and they always have great recommendations (even for us non-alcohol drinkers!).I highly recommend the Hopyard!

I go here for East Coast Queers Trivia each month. The atmosphere is great! The menu can sometimes be a bit unique but it's pretty good overall. Allie is hands down the best!
Tasty perogies for an appetizer and a great tasting entree. Friendly ( and overly apologetic..I did not wait that long for my drink!) Staff helped to make this a perfect spot to meet up before a concert!

Hop yard offers a safe space for queer trivia each month which is fun! The beer is cold with lots of choices. The parmesean cauliflower is a fave every time I go! The servers are accurate and friendly!! I recommend checking it out!

When they ran out of wings I decided to try the Brussel toast and was told I wouldn't be disappointed and they were right! It was delicious. Always a good affordable bite to eat and a good beer and friendly staff.
