My family enjoys jungle Jim's a few times a year. But out latest visit was a very big surprise with the prices since the last time we visited... it really did show by the lack of costumers in the restaurant in the middle of supper hour they no longer have the business they once had ( the place was dead). I realize everything has gone up in price but this was a bit toooo much. The waiter was great, food was great but for the price we well not be returning...the prices at side marios across the street as also gone up but almost half the price to dine.

My family and I have been coming here frequently for years. It is a family favourite for us. However tonight was completely different. The service was slow the fountain pop machine wasn’t working properly. One of the people in my party asked for a coffee 3 times before they got it so had no drink with their meal. Not one staff member was friendly and this is not ever the case. The food was delicious as usual just the waitress didn’t check in.
Checked out Jungle Jim's on a recent trip to Halifax. The atmosphere is cozy and the decor is neat. The service was fantastic, and staff are very friendly. The food was good. My husband was a bit disappointed that they were out of fish and chips. Definitely recommend giving this place a try. There is something on the menu for
Burgers are ridiculously delicious! I have had the club sandwich also, it's on bread that is from a local baker, very good.I have lived in NS for 5 years, I have recently discovered this Gem of a restaurant that has TVs with ADHD perfection showing extreme sports to wild attempts, service that cares and a wild interior fit for a great event. Taquitos are in the picture below and we’re unbelievable baked with barbeque sauce.I would recommend this place every time.

The wings had good flavour, we ordered honey garlic and buffalo ranch. Mine were borderline lukewarm so a hotter temperature would definitely be appreciated. The bbq chicken taquitos were good but again, could have been a bit warmer. Our server was fantastic. She was very friendly and checked in with us often to see if we needed anything. The restrooms were very clean.

It's Friday evening about 815 and Jennifer in Bayers Lake, Halifax, Nova Scotia. I just finished having dinner with the most beautiful girl in the world (my favorite girl) and her daughter. Her daughter chose this location and honestly, upon first suggestion I was not sure if I'd like it. Loved the fish and chips. Also enjoyed watching the tropical fish in the built in aquarium.
