Coffee was good with delicious food. Service was clipped and unfriendly which unfortunately affected the overall vibe.

Overall - a wonderful bakery. Highlights include the white sourdough (Fremont), croissants, and beignets. The homemade hazelnut spread is also to die for. Service is generally warm and the dog friendliness is certainly a bonus. There are however a few mediocre items that could use some improvement — some of the loaves are mealy tasting (esp the whole wheat sourdough) and some of the pastries are lacklustre (I find this especially with the tarts, like the blueberry tart).

The croissant is probably the best you can get in the city. The price is also reasonable. The service is ok.

This place is my go-to bakery for pretty much everything. Arguably the best bakery in Halifax with a good product range that you would expect from any traditional bakery with high quality as the standard. Although still delicious, I disagree with the baking duration of the croissants or thinking an industrial slicing machine would be good for customers who demand their bread to be sliced. But all bread products are exceptional, along with sandwiches. As a coffee shop they serve good coffee with a decent number of tables. No bells and whistles, LF Bakery is making its mark with good products and service. Thank you for never disappointing

This is our go-to for authentic French bread and chocolate croissants we can make at home. Get there early on a weekend and be patient. Worth the wait!

Great pastries and latte -especially the tumeric one-. The plain croissant and the goat cheese/olive pastry -my favorite- were great. The cinnamon tourbillon and apple nest were good as well.Friendly and helpful staff. Paid street parking -free before 8AM-.Parking: Side street, free if before 8AM.

Pros:Loved the palmier, chocolate croissant, cinnamon bun, and vanilla custard tart.Staff is friendly enough.Cons:A bit pricier than other bakeries/cafes.Parking is a challenge. They run out of pastries pretty quick, though. I’m not sure if they bake them all day. I hope so! I’ll ask next time I drop by.Parking: No parking area. You have to park on Gottingen street, only good for 2 cars at best. Otherwise, find Indigo parking at the back alley and pay.

Come here whenever I’m in town. Best croissant, baked goods and prices in Halifax! Arrive early as they sell out regularly. Beverages are adequate and seemingly no table service. Not open Mondays and Tuesdays.

It’s my first time to dine here. This apple nest is tasty and not too sweet. The price is reasonable.
