This place has absolutely awful service. A large group and I were there for almost 2 hours yesterday and only spoke to our waiter once, and one of those meetings was because we hunted him down in the kitchen and asked for water after not being offered any despite us being there for around a half hour at this point. Most of the time there he just spent out back on his phone or sitting behind the bar and eating. We didn't get any food, but honestly we probably wouldn't have gotten it even if we wanted to because of how poor the service was. There also wasn't anyone there to teach us how to play the games, which I believe is an important staple in a board game cafe. The inside is very dull and uninviting, and a lot of pieces were missing from games. Upon leaving, I paid what I thought was my bill (because he handed me the machine) but as we were walking out the last friend to pay said he was still waiting for me. I went back and told him I paid and he rudely told me that I only paid my admission, so I asked why he handed me the machine (which was already on the top screen when I got it) if the total was not correct. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone.
When I go to a restaurant hospitality and customer care should be taken care of. The guy who works there is always on his phone. Expect to go there sit for a while to get a menu and then wait for longer to order. You'd have to ask for something (i.e. spoon, salt, water, napkins, etc.) more than once

Good food every time I have been (at least on the traditional menu) and it is nice to have the opportunity to play games you might not buy for yourself. I have always interacted with the same staff (maybe the owner?) and he is very friendly and helpful.

I've visited many times at this point, and it's apparent the cooks on staff are very skilled or the recipes they use are very well thought out. THE FOOD IS EXCELLENT! Of course they also have board games, which make the wait for the food non-existant. A wonderful experience, 5/7 with rice.
