We ordered the Chicken Bacon Melt and we also shared a side of the Belgian fries (mains do not come with a side so we opted for this to share). It was phenomenal! It was seasoned perfectly - I wouldn't have changed a thing. I will definitely be a returning customer! For anyone interested in trying it - it's busy and highly advisable to reserve a table in advance.Sorry, no photos as I forgot to take pictures.Wheelchair accessibility: There's a wheelchair ramp available. I noticed it as I was leaving but I would call to confirm.

Delicious food and friendly staff! The falafel burger is my new favourite that I think about often. Can’t wait to come back. Best fries too!

I found this pub looking on maps, I read the menu online and noticed they had Schnitzel with pan fries & a few other items I though my wife would like.Saturday we took a drive out for lunch and after ordering, to an un-enthused waitress I ordered a Schnitzel and my wife Fish cakes she asked if we wanted a side. I asked about the pan fries, she replied it must have been an old menu. So fish cakes come as 2 cakes & a tbs of onion chutney and my Schnitzel with just a tbs of gravy......okay a 1/2 cup of Soup $7 a side of Fries $5 on top of the menu price for our food and drink. It was not what I consider to be a Schnitzel. this was a thin tough slice of pork loin breaded and fried, like a breaded pork chop without the bone. I won't bother with the fish cakes as my wife went meh and the soup was worse. with tax and tip $65.2 star because it was clean with a nice bathroom.

Great little pub and food-stop tucked in a quaint village in a remote place of NS. Food is great and staff is friendly. I recommend you take your family here. German cuisine was good too. The drive over through from East Lahave to Lunenburg (once they fix the bridge) is spectacular, or the other way around for a great sunset drive after your meal.

We were happily surprised at this fantastic little pub in the country. Wonderful service and delicious food. Especially the seafood chowder. Highly recommended.

Great food in a genuinely relaxed setting, genuinely welcoming to our small well-behaved dog and overall a fine dinner of quality pub grub and seafood with a solid drink menu. We'll be back!

Great looking restaurant with a nice patio on the front. There is cats around that belong to the property and are so friendly that it made us happy before we got in which was a good thing. When we first got in we waited at the door to be seated as the sign told us to for about 5 minutes before someone acknowledged us. We asked if we could sit on the patio and was told go right ahead but we may have to clean a table off for you. We did find a table that was clean but then we sat and waited for 28 minutes (I timed) before even getting a menu to look at. A couple that came in right behind us who sat inside ended up finished and leaving before we ordered(unless the left from waiting that I don't know )The food we ordered made everything almost better as it was all very hot and fresh and delicious. Even though it was a rough start to the visit I would definitely go back. The Bayport bacon burger was hands down amazing. My girlfriend's sisters scallops were just slightly undercooked but still good.

Amazing!! 10 stars! We were on a NS adventure which took us on a ferry and into an area we hadnt explored before. Quick google map search for local food and we found the Bayport Pub.I was worried my opinions would be limited to your typical pub fare "Deep Fried Everything".The building is painted this beautiful blue colour which stands out from the road and all the surrounding greenery. With an outdoor seating area along the front, it was a difficult decision to sit indoors when the outside seating was inviting us to enjoy the fresh air and the evening light.I had the fish (GF batter) with a Ceasar side salad. The dressing on the Ceasar salad was Sooooo delicious!! I was expecting the typical vinaigrette style dressing, and was surprised to find it was freshly made!! Once I sampled the rest of my dish I quickly realized fresh ingredients is the theme of this kitchen. The lightly battered and crispy fish was perfect when paired with the... tartar sauce from the GODS. The menu said it was homemade but I didn't think they meant the goddess herself blessed this condiment.IT WAS AMAZING!So good that when I took half of my fish home, I scrapped every last drop of tartar sauce out of the serving dish. I'm still thinking about it..My partner had the adult grilled cheese (contains bacon and apples). I wish I had paid attention to the type of bread that was used. If I had to guess I'd say a thin sliced sourdough? Shredded cheese, crispy bacon and thinly sliced Granny Smith apples elevates a simple childhood staple. Paired with handcut fries and their mushroom gravy.. it was PERFECTION!The staff was friendly, genuine, and attentive! And the music playlist was FIRE!! It was a perfect mix. I almost asked who had curated it so I could beg them for the list.If you're out this way, do yourself a favour and stop in for a bite. You'll thank me after!

Wonderful restaurant! The food and drinks are fantastic. My wife and I had the fish and chips and our company had the fish tacos and the pulled pork burger. All was excellently prepared and delivered in a timely manner. Service was quick and friendly. One should make reservations, especially with a larger group as this place is very busy. Perfectly situated near the ovens park and local beaches, make this a must stop for the area!

The service was quick and the server was outstanding. He was friendly and very helpful in making our meal selections. We had the gluten free fish and chips. The fish was fresh, the batter was light and crispy and so delicious. The fries were fresh cut and perfectly crispy with homemade tartar sauce and heavenly coleslaw. It is a must try. You would not even know it is gluten free!. We will be back!

Not a great start because they took our order and came back 20 minutes later to take our order. Pretty sure it got misplaced first time but they found it. On the upside the food was yummy once it arrived. A slip up but we will be back.

Love this place! I was so excited when I found out that the fish and chips were safe for someone who can’t have gluten. The food was SO good, service was excellent and the atmosphere was very welcoming. I have raved about this place to basically anyone I have talked to since I ate here. Highly recommend!

Really happy we made the drive over here from Lunenburg for dinner. 1) it was a really beautiful drive, 2) the service was very friendly and 3) the burgers were really delicious! Would definitely make the effort to come here again if I was in the area!

Keep coming back because it's usually pretty relaxed and laid-back. The neighbour across the road has horses and it doesn't feel tourist-y. The garden next to the patio is used for veggies and such in the kitchen - how cool?!Four star because as a new parent a proper baby change stand is a high priority. But other than that minor complaint, will have no problem returning when in the area. A great place to be!
