A cute little restaurant in Yellowknife based on local food. It is really neat to see some creative uses of fish, like their fish wings! The restaurant also has a little shop that has frozen fish, fish sausage and fish cakes, as well as fermented and processed goodies like pickled spruce tips and marmalade.
It’s like a backyard garden party every day! I had an oat milk latté and the smoked fish hash. Top notch local food. Service was fantastic, prices were very reasonable. Float planes were landing in the background and it was sunny with a nice breeze coming off the water. Heaven.
Without a doubt the best place to eat in whole Yellowknife and one of my favorites during my visit in Yellowknife.Had an amazing brunch at this place. The smoked fish tasted amazing and the Sous Vide Egg was cooked to perfection. And all of that for a quite reasonable price, especially compared to other restaurants in that area!The people working there were super nice and the whole place felt really cozy.Would love to come back here in summer when you can sit outside and watch...
