When there's only 1 option for a home cooked meal within 100 miles, we were very glad to have stumbled across the Alamo Diner, and the excellent food and service that was provided to us!

The food is some of the worst I have ever eaten. The salsa with the chips is so gross I could barely get it down. The dinner was watery and almost inedible. This is one we will avoid on our next trip thru here.

When I met my wife 25 years ago her mom made me tacos like I'd never experienced before. She is Mexican and fried the shells in a way that was crunchy and soft at the same time and didn't put any nonsense taco flavoring in the meat- she just let the carne speak for itself. She served the tacos with pleasure and made me feel at home with her smile that said, "please enjoy". Today I am at home again. Best restaurant tacos I have ever had. Amazing flavor, perfect shells, and salsa as warm as the desert in summer. Eat here. Just do it.

The menu was diverse between American classics and Mexican classics. I had the biscuits and gravy breakfast and my husband had a wet burrito. Both were served quickly with nice portions. A homemade coconut pie was supposed to be dessert, but we had no room after cleaning off our plates. This being said, the server who waited on us was the highlight. (I'm embarrassed to say that I didn't get her name.) Always smiling, chatting up the customers, and multi-tasking like crazy. We hadn't expected to stop in this cute little town, but happy that we did.

Beef chimichanga was great. Laurie was great. Locals were great. You should visit.

Neat little diner to stop at on the way through town! We were hungry on our road trip and with this being the only place for miles, it was really good. They have regular diner food as well as Mexican. Nice server, fast service, clean restaurant, good food!

Nice lady running the place. We had breakfast. Pancakes and bacon were good. Biscuit and sausage were good.

Good eats, served by decent young kids. Highly recommended. It's a sleeper at the Sinclair gas station.

We stop here often when traveling from Arizona to Idaho. The food is always good. We haven't tried the American items on the menu because the Mexican food is so tasty. The house was packed last night with only one server but she did a great job. We'll return.

Everyone was so friendly here. I came in for a quick take out order to take down the street to my motel. The chicken was delicious.

What a pleasant surprise. This may be the only restaurant in town, but it is clean and comfortable... and the home made food is fantastic. The owner even visits with you at your table. Absolutely worth the stopping and enjoying some Alamo hospitality.

Not very good. Little flavor. Had shredded beef burrito and was full of beans. Did not like. Chips were slightly old. Loved our waitress!
