I went and visited the Great Basin brewing company in Carson on Monday. I had such a pleasant experience with the bartender melissa! She made she I was taken care of and made sure my drinks and food came out in a fast and timely manner! I highly recommend coming here and asking for her! She makes the BEST margaritas! :)

We stopped here after disc golf before we headed back to Reno and the food was great, the 4 stars is because it took a while to get our food. The server was very courteous and was attentive so I think the kitchen was just behind. I would definitely recommend as the outdoor seating is a nice addition to this place.

The environment was welcoming. Lots of seating, tvs and lively. We were told our wait would be about 15 minutes, but we waited about 45 mins. When we sat down, we waited 10ish minutes before we were greeted by our waitress. We ordered our meal with our drinks since we already knew what we wanted to order. Other tables still had not received their dinners so we anticipated another lengthy wait. The food took about another half hour. The food was bland. The burger I ordered lacked flavor and tasted undercooked. The fries were good though. Overall, keeping two stars because of the wide selection of drinks and our attentive waitress. She was kind and checked in frequently. Maybe I'd give this place another shot just because I enjoyed the environment. Cool spot for a hangout with friends, not so much for a sit down dinner, especially if you're feeling hungry.

This place was HORRIBLE. The food was mediocre but what really took it over a cliff was the service. The lady was barely around and when she was she was nor friendly or attentive at all. My moms blood sugar was dropping and her food Ofcourse was the only one forgotten. There was no apology or anything for the mistake just agreed to box it up. I had to go find someone else to get some juice for her. I was so irritated by the time we left that I was just livid. Zero customer service + mediocre food = never again.

Let me be clear and say the only reason their is star at all is because the food was OK. The chicken sando is my usual go to but extremely inconsistent, sometimes you get a large chicken breast, sometimes it's tiny so keep in consideration when buying how inconsistent it can be. Also If your looking for exceptional service you might want to look elsewhere in town. Manager on site (believe his name is Igor) is extremely smug and rude. The staff was extremely overwhelmed and he just sat back and did nothing to help elevate. Unfortunately don't think I will be coming back

Fried Zucchini is bomb. Had one of their burgers, and it was just awful. No taste and burnt/over cooked. Wife got one too and it was just as bad. Just don't get their burgers, go to red robins.

Went with a group of 5 and were placed in the back seating area. The atmosphere in this back room is okay, but can be very loud and not memorable. Ordered a French dip which was good, but be prepared for a smaller size dish with a premium price. Beer was good, but again nothing that I would write home about either. If in the area would give it a try, but would not make a detour/drive to visit.

The fish and chips here are served piping hot. Yes, my selection from the GBBC menu was limited to fish, this second Friday of Lent. The battered and deep fried cod is advertised as wild Alaskan, and I believe it. Good service was provided by Amy, except she gave the check to a fellow diner instead of honoring my request to be the person to pay. I cannot comment on any beverage except for ice tea which was, well, ice tea.

Typically enjoy visiting staff and employees work with friendliness, smiles welcoming hospitality to make your evening of healthy delicious food options and a plethora of craft brew selections and top shelf sports viewing fun relaxing an enjoyable.On a sad unbelievable side note I don’t know and or understand who authorized the installation of those typical old school POS gambling poker machines by cutting huge holes and creating a total motif atmosphere ambiance disaster yuk!Vegetarian options: Salmon & Ahi Tuna healthy bowls are a huge favorite not to mention new Hoppy New Year Ale took home a growler full as well
