I love spending time over here on the eastern side of the Sierra, so beautiful. We stopped in at one of my fave stops and find it's been taken over by IHG Holiday Inn Vacation Club Resorts .... which turns out is not a bad thing. The website has change as has the official name and phone numbers. 1862 David Wally's Hot Springs Resort has been sold to Holiday Inn Club Vacations. My husband and I came across this resort when we were looking for a place to stay since we got caught in a snow storm. We are very happy we found David Walley's Resort. It was a great experience. The entire staff was super friendly, especially Maria. We were very well taken care of. The room was nice and clean with a great view. I totally recommend this resort.

This place has decent rooms to stay in but it doesn't come with hot springs. It's in a beautiful backdrop of the Genoa valley but they are way overpriced! They milk you for every cent here. I will have to say that the food is delicious!. Checkout is at 11 and the maid woke us up beating on our door at 9 which really pissed me off!! I won't go back unless the start being nicer monetarily to the locals!!
