We love purple penguin and go there ALL the time! Kids love the shave ice and I always get the root beer float. Well went there recently and felt like I got skimped on the vanilla ice cream. I think I only took maybe two bites of the ice cream and all that was left was a cup of root beer. That was disappointing. Especially with prices going up everywhere. I was not a fan of shaved ice until I visited Purple Penguin! I'm used to establishments offering snow cones with large pieces of crushed ice that takes away from the flavoring. Purple Penguin however offered a very nicely shaved ice which was very easy and convenient to consume.I tried a combination of banana and cheesecake and it was so much better than expected.
