If you like spicy then definitely skip past the "Hot" and go right for the "Cluck'd Up"... not much action on the Hot. The Mac and Cheese and Coleslaw definitely leave something to be desired but the fries and Hush puppies were delicious. Overall a really solid stop. The food was definitely delicious minus the couple of sides I mentioned. I would definitely recommend and definitely come back for seconds!

Just left . My wife and I were kicked out by the woman at the front desk. I'm 74 my wife is 68 . Music was very loud and we could not read the menu. We asked for her to help. Long story short, She kicked us out.

I placed an online order for the Captain's Combo on "Fryday". This is what the website said I was ordering:CAPTAIN'S COMBOBEER BATTERED ALASKAN COD & WILD CAUGHT SHRIMP, FRESH CUT FRIES, TENNESSEE SLAW, HUSH PUPPIES, REMOULADE & COCKTAIL SAUCEWhat I actually got was 1 small piece of fried cod, 3 shrimp and french fries - no Tennessee slaw and no hush puppies. On top of that, the fries were cold, even though I arrived earlier than the website's scheduled pick-up time. With the tip the website automatically added, I paid over $26. I'm quite disappointed.

I have never, ever, in my 60 years experienced such a mean and nasty environment as I did when I walked inside of this restaurant today. My family & I simply walked in, proceeded to get in line to order, when all of a sudden this lady with short blonde hair behind the counter was seriously screaming at people, disgusted with someone or something, not sure. My 9 year granddaughter was horrified, we were all appalled. Why she thinks she can yell and scream when things are not going swiftly because it's too busy, or whatever the case is,is just beyond words. I felt sorry for everyone behind and in front of the counter that were in her presence. We walked out, the lady ahead of us walked out. Unbelievable!

My favorite...I call to order and the person who answers phone directed me to their website. When I said I tried to order online but was getting an error message, she said " well, 20 other people have figured it out tonight." I was on the verge of hanging up but composed myself. We picked up food and it was really bad. Even my kids said it was gross. Tried to stay local but definitely never ordering here again. Definitely not worth the money...or the attitude.

I’m giving one star to make the rating of this place more realistic. This restaurant should be rated at 3 stars.The issue is the food is not fresh.The chicken tender salad was…. Horrible…. DO NOT order the salad….. It is mostly icebergs and some slices or tomatoes and onions. Never seen this poor salad sold for $12. And even the condition of the icebergs was old… see the picture. It was almost turning to red and started having some mold. The worst was the chicken tender. The fried chicken was too dry feeling like chewing rubber.We ordered other sandwiches too. They were much better. Order the sandwiches from this place.
The fries are delicious but the rest of the food is not. The chicken is way over cooked and the burgers aren't good.

As an Incline local who loves hot chicken from Nashville, I was excited when Bertie's came to town. They did not disappoint. But over the last year they have progressively gotten worse to the point where this is the last time I'll go. I said that the last 4 times, but this is it. Their bread isn't toasted and is stale. If you get any sauce, it's so watery that the whole sandwich becomes soggy. I've had medium heat that was the spiciest thing I've ever eaten and had hot heat where I got nothing. The inconsistency is astounding. On top of that prices have gone up 30% within a year. Unbelievably disappointing.

Wow..A really good flavorful sandwich I had the "hot" flavored ill have the hotter one next time ...but it was really flavorful and crispy the pickle is definitely a great addition I also had the garlic fries they were really some of the best garlic fries that I've had. The pricevery reasonable great customer service also thanks.

Garlic fries are identical to no-sodium Veggie Straws™Baja Bird sandwich.... a big bite of terf & wood chips.You're best bet is across the street.Better to not waste your time (and coin), head to the joint formerly known as Bar Jays, Inclined Burger.
