Ona business trip and was feeling like soup. Tried the “Swallow a Cloud” wonton soup. I watched as a woman made the fresh wontons. The combination of the noodles, bok choy, and these wontons was delicious with a smidge of chili oil. I will say that the service also exceeded my expectations.

This place is wayyyy too expensive for the food it gives you. We paid $35 for what we thought would be a yummy meal but what turned out to just be a snack... NOT WORTH

I stayed at the Cosmo for 4 nights and I went to China Poblano 3 times. It might be a problem, but honesty I can't wait to return!I made a res for one so I sat at the counter. They have one counter that is on the Mexican side of the house where they make fresh tortillas/tacos etc but not bar (its to the left) and one Chinese counter that is where they make the dumplings and some cocktails. I sat on both sides, but prefer the Mexican side because the ladies are so good at making tortillas I couldn't help but stare. The food is either Chinese or Mexican. According to the story on the top of the menu the Asian girl (historic China Poblano legend) was brought over at a young age and brought her culture of cooking and dress to this Puebla region in MX. This restaurant honors the tradition in its own way. If the food price ends in .88 it's Chinese and .00 it's Mexican. This is not a typical fusion restaurant where you are eating something like a dumpling with nopales and cheese inside lol.Tacos are quite small, and quite pricey, but delicious. The potato taco (not pictured) wasn't great, but the pulpo one was!The salt air margarita still appears in my dreams, wow. Must try.If you can't get a spot take out is worth it with their walk up window. The Dim Sum was spectacular. Can't wait to return.

Very nice atmosphere the decor of restaurant was nice. Located in Cosmopolitan Casino. Didn’t wait long to be seated about 10min. Waiter was nice and asked us did we have any allergies to the food or any questions. Our total meal was about $80 dollars for an appetizer and two entrees no drinks. The portions sizes are not big for the price. If you order tacos you have to order them separately and they’re between $6.50-$9 a piece. We ended up ordering Queso chorizo Fundido two 18 monk with chicken and my husband had shrimp in his it was only 5 pieces of shrimp and it $10 dollars extra for it. Overall experience was okay.

My husband and I came here for lunch today. Located at Cosmopolitan. Hands down, the food was delicious. I ordered a favorite Mexican soup that was bursting with tons of flavor, Posole Rojo. The broth was spot on with a bit of chile flavor. I also ordered one taco de carnitas. Very yummy. My husband ordered the traditional siu mai, quesabirria and their envueltos de mole. This cozy hot spot is a must try!

Better them to focus either Chinese or Mexican. To be honest, they are neither of them. The worst tacos I have ever had.The chef was tasting or interviewing at the next table, and he couldn't use chopsticks.... ?$10 for a small bottle of water is insane. Overall service was way below average.

Food was not good. With a group who loves both cuisine, we thought we would fine something to please everyone, this was not the case. Even the chips and salsa were less than mediocre.
We had chips and salsa, fish tacos, carnitas taco, cold cucumber(highly recommended), and barbecue pork steamed buns. Everything is delicious. I recommend making a reservation.Enjoy Life While You Can.
