Our favorite Hawaiian restaurant! We come here every time we are in Vegas! The poke is so fresh and flavorful...love the Chicken Katsu and the Teriyaki chicken, just to name a few! The Macaroni salad is amazing as well! Staff is super friendly and helpful, just love this place so much!

Once in a while I would go here with coworkers and we usually enjoy the food most of the time. Yesterday at 1/30/24 12:00pm, whoever made the Macaroni Salad, it was over salted and very salty. I love Macaroni salad and always get it every time. I was very disappointed that I told the cashier, the cashier said she would tell her manager but nothing happened from that. I honestly will not go back to Makai's just because of this. I had 2 scoops of macaroni salad to just throw away in the trash, what a waste of my hard earned money.

Love this concept! Build your own platter. Great options! Will definitely come back. Plenty of seating inside.Parking: This location is close to a In-and-Out so the line for the drive thru can make it a bit tricky to get over to Makai Island, but enough spots in the parking lot.

I LOVE this place, I take all my friends here, any time someone comes to town this is one of the spots i take them. its nothing fancy its just GOOD comforting food. The prices have gone up sure but show me a spot that hasnt, the service isnt always the best but again show me a spot with top tierservice 24/7. the food though (minus the chicken wings, those can be dry af sometimes) is ALWAYS good! I get the Kalua pig, chiken katsu, teriaki chicken, white rice, kimchi slaw, and mac salad. sometimes i get Poke if im in the mood. and every time its fantastic. Pro tip ask for spicy katsu sauce

Very good food at a good price! I really liked the maccaroni salad! It reminds me of Maui Rose, a restaurant that closed down a few years ago. The price is very good for the amount you get!

Got a little busy with life but wanted to share my experience on November 4th. Walking in there was only a couple people in line. We went through the process of getting the food service was good until we got to the cashier. I don't know her name but was disappointing right away she rolled her eyes because I asked if I could have some of the sauce that goes with the chicken katsu. My son had dropped his fork and went up to the counter waited in line as he should to ask for a new one. When he was next the same cashier rolled her eyes again and made him just stand there for 5mins while she just skipped and went on to the next customer. It was just completely unnecessary takes 5 seconds to reach down and get an extra fork. Food was good but wish I could say the same about the service.
