March 21st 2024 time 2:37pm I called because Dr Frank Lee failed to put my prescription in to the pharmacy , the operator that took my call was being rude to me about me inquiring and checking up on my prescription I was supposed to pick up yesterday 2 hours after I was discharged...

Been in a bed for 3 days, never changed sheets. Can't brush teeth or clean up due to 1 bathroom that patients and visitors use. In for heart issues, never saw the cardiologist. Attending Dr was in and gone in 30 seconds with no news on what is going on. Still in street clothes to sleep in. Then they say your attending Dr is assigned by your insurance you have. Patient care ridiculous....not a #1 hospital in my opinion.

The emergency room is awful. Came in with chest pains and because the EKG was clear there was no sense of urgency to help even though my daughter was in constant pain in her chest. The chest pains continued for over 2 hours. We were told they were waiting for a bed to take blood. I thought after paying the emergency room deductible of 400.00 my daughter would be promptly seen. The triage nurse appeared sympathetic but that’s about it. Plus that door going into the triage is noisy to the point of aggravation. There is more security staff than nurses.

DO NOT GO! My boyfriend went here for an emergency appendectomy in February 2024. WAY overcharged - the total was $114,000. His appendix was close to bursting and they said he couldn’t fly back to our home state for the surgery. The price for this procedure in New York City would be maximum $34,000 plus hospital stay ($5000/day). There is no reason why an inferior hospital in Las Vegas is charging over 3x what a New York hospital would for a very standard procedure. Even the hospital estimate was $34,000 from the website of MountainView itself. His procedure was a simple laparoscopic surgery with no complications. This is the exact reason why the health system in the United States is broken. Hospitals like MountainView are predatory towards patients from out of state looking to make a quick buck or bankrupt these patients for their own gain.Very disappointed in the service here to say the least. Better to have your appendix burst flying home to a hospital with some decency and standards than to deal with a bill you have to pay off for years to come from MountainView Hospital.

My mom was brought to Mt. View by ambulance for a bad fall on Feb 29th. Unfortunately she fractured her hip and needed emergency surgery. I can’t Thank the staff for the care they provided. Very nice and caring! A huge shout out to Dr. Nwasike her surgeon, Dr. Alex her ER doc, Bailey her ER nurse for the care. Once transferred to the 4th floor, the exceptional care followed. Another huge shout out to Katt and Frank the nurses, Winnie and Art her CNA’s, Arnold her PT, Karen in dietary and Stephanie and Karen her case managers! I hope I didn’t forget anyone. Once again Thank You from all of us ❤️

Run don't come here... Doctors ok but everything else is poor healthcare with the exception of a few nurses. I need dialysis about every 2 days, took them 5 days. Once your body and mind are totally exhausted, you will sleep to be awakened by monitor devices that will often ring for 6 minutes or more while they sit at their station at all hours of the day

This is REALLY a nice hospital!!! The staff treated my well, with so much respect! I had refusion surgery. The staff on the 4th floor (rooms 465-470) Frankie was my nurse, he was awesome!!!Oh yes, found me a new hospital, even though it's been there. I highly recommend!

Was taken here for a reaction to the Co V V A CThey weren't able to find anything and they strapped me down because they thought I was crazy and gave me anxiety medication. It is absolutely insane in this emergency room and having been sent to every hospital in LasVegas with the exception of saint rose I have marked this one as the absolute worst.I was also laughed at and mocked by the EMTS / Paramedics who picked me up. None of them are good people, they just passed school.I have now developed1.) Penile Thrombosis AKA penile BloodClots2.) Pudendal Neuralgia3.) Varicoceles In both testicles4.) Undiagnosed Heart Condition5.) Bodily Inflammation ( Groin Area mostly )I work in a doctors office now and am going to school to become a Doctor. I’ve been to meetings and seen what goes on behind the scenes. This is a money making business and they are not here to get you better. They treated me like garbage and may the laws of the universe come into play with everyone at this hospital, AMEN.

I had my baby here two months ago. She is my first baby, and I didn’t know what to expect.I was admitted quickly and my induction was started promptly when it was determined that I had preeclampsia.I was also given a magnesium drip to help a vapid seizures. I wasn’t ever told that as a result of this drip that I would be denied food for almost three days. Even after laboring for 27 hours and eventually having a c-section, I was only given sugar free jello. When questioned, the provider said, “that’s just how I practice.” He was an Asian doctor in the labor and delivery floor.I wasn’t ever given instruction on how to care for my c-section incision, or given any sort of aftercare instruction after having had a major abdominal surgery. I had to read through my discharge papers and use Google to figure out how to care for myself. If I ever have another baby, I will probably be making the further drive to Centennial to deliver.

This hospital is horrible. They couldn't find me in nationwide data base and completely dismissed me not giving me a medication I really needed. After about a week of suffering I was finally able to get in to a specialist where he confirmed what I already knew, that I was indeed in the database. Either they were just complete jerks or extremely lacking in their training. It's pretty messed up how they treated me I left in tears. There was nothing I could do they just told me they couldn't get my prescription I had been on for 3 years in a previous state. They refused to even contact my previous PCP. Interesting how the survey on their website is "unavailable".

No discharge instructions. Did not provide necessary durable medical supplies. Care was ok except hospitalist recorded that he examined me when he did not.I called the phone number below and left a detailed message. I forgot to mention here that my Hip replacement Surgery is listed as a Cardiac Stress Test in the notes!
