While I usually refrain from leaving negative reviews, my recent experience at this establishment left much to be desired. Despite being a small group, we felt overlooked, which detracted from the overall service. The food failed to impress; not only was it nothing extraordinary, but the prices seemed unjustifiably high for the quality offered. Even something as simple as hot tea was served cold and excessively strong, completely missing the mark. Unfortunately, this experience falls short of expectations, and it’s unlikely I’ll be returning anytime.

Was here recently for a celebration dinner. We ordered the full Peking duck and let me tell you, it did not disappoint! Ambiance is upscale Chinese. Really liked all the red colors and the service is candid but it does the job. I would recommend this love for anyone wanting some upscale Chinese bites in Vegas!

Wow wow wow. Amazing Chinese food. Had the Mongolian beef and the Beef tenderloin with king mushrooms. We will be coming back for sure. So dang good. Pass on the fried rice, nothing special.

From online reviews, I expected a high end Singapore or Hong Kong style restaurant, but Red Plate is not that. The food and service is rushed. They didn’t offer the high end service and amenities I expected. They brought all Four dishes within a span of ten minutes. The food was just so-so. The pork dumpling dough was thick and too greasy. The waiter said the Singapore noodles weren’t spicy but the chef dumped a tablespoon of chili powder across the top of the noodles and the noodles were inedible. My mouth was numb after three bites. My guest couldn’t eat any of the noodles. I used to live in Singapore and was dreaming of those noodles. Oh well.

Watch out!The food is just average. The prices are sky high. Although the restaurant is beautifully decorated, its food is just average.Waiters/ tried to force/talk you into ordering more and to spend more than you can eat. If you order lobsters, which they charge per pound, they will tell you that a lobster weighs approximately 2 lbs but you will get a bill of 2.9 lbs. They continually ask different waiter to come and rush you to order. If you discuss a dish with one waiter but have not yet commit to ordering it yet and order another dish from the manager, they will bring and charge you for both.

My husband and I were looking for a place to eat for date night, and Red Plate caught our eye while we were strolling around The Cosmopolitan. The entrance itself looked really inviting, with a rich color palette of gold, deep mahogany, and red accents. The big fancy open doors basically lured us in, lol! We were promptly seated not too far from the front. I felt like we walked into a different world, sitting at our side corner table. We ordered Lobster Sui Mai and Black Truffle Xiao Lung Bao to start, both of which were delicious in their own unique ways. The Sui Mai was more of a classic traditional, perfectly balanced flavor while the Xiao Lung Bao had a nice unique twist with the sauce that came with it. For dinner, I ordered the Spicy Singapore Rice Noodle with BBQ Pork and Shrimp which was a solidly good plate and actually not spicy at all; it was more of a lightly flavored curry noodle dish. My husband ordered Beef Fried Rice with Black Truffle and Egg, which I had to steal a bite of. And it was AMAZING. I honestly liked it a lot better than my dish which was good, but not as flavorful. I also had jasmine tea with my dinner which went really well with my dish. For dessert, I had to order the matcha crepe brûlée when I heard it was on the menu. So delicious and so different in the way that you'd expect it to be! We also received a small plate of complimentary various sweet bites which were all so good (the key lime piece was my favorite!). My husband and I were just talking ten minutes ago about this place again, lol! If we could, we'd be going back again tonight, haha! Would definitely recommend this place and would love to pay a visit here again. Amazing food and experience!
