I am astounded at the way this property/corporation operates. I had made a reservation online a couple weeks ago for June 12-15. They took the reservation and I made all my necessary arrangements for that weekend in Reno. They e-mailed me a cancellation yesterday, four days before arrival. No apologies, no explanation, nothing. Just a computer generated cancellation that was worded like I had made the cancellation. They left me high and dry. With inadequate advance booking possible, there are no deals to be had and it will now cost me several hundred dollars if I follow through with my trip. Thank you for nothing Harrah's Reno! You sure screwed me!

I will be sad when this place starts to change as it's one of my favorites for dining. If you get a chance definitely go check out the buffet before they close locals get 2 for 1 and it's one of the best buffets in town. There's gaming and kids arcades, hotels and food.

First visit here, just in the area for a few days had to check it out. Very nice casino, up to date and clean. It's been a while since my last casino visit and although the slots were unfamiliar they were friendly $. Will definitely be back next visit. Next time I'll bring some gambling money ?

Good atmosphere, friendly staff. It's a nice place to spend a few hours relaxing in front of the slot machines. The hotel rooms are nice and most rooms have a great view.

Very dirty. Our room looked like it never got cleaned Help was hit and miss. When we checked in they were very nice. Once we were staying it was like they could careless if they took care of us. The floor was super Smokey even for a casino.

Disappointing visit. One of the worst Harrahs properties I have visited. While most of the staff, and casino hosts were friendly the rooms were out-dated, limited food options and hotel overall needs a serious upgrade. They were limited on table games offered. There seems to be a sewage problem near the east tower restrooms near the elevators. The sportsbook also seems very limited on what they're able to accept without an approval, which often the supervisor wasn't around to do. Will not be staying at Harrahs for my future Reno visits.

Newest! I am a pet owner so we travel with our pets two little dogs we have been in many motel hotel casinos and we’ve never ever had a problem. we went to Harris In Reno, they put us on the fourth floor which is dog floor. as soon as we walked out the door of the elevator it reeked of dog P so bad and wanted to make you throw up we finally got down to our room and it was disgusting we found dirt all over the beds we found it looks like bugs on the floor there was there was left over food containers the bathroom had dirt and hair in it the stool did not flush it is the worst place we have been and then they put us in a different room which there is still dirt on the floor at least this one doesn’t stink of dog P but the light fixtures is so deem that you can barely see and the one light fixture by the door is half off I will never ever ever stay here again and beware beware!
I recommend this place for as long as it is open. They are closing down, so if you want to see this place before it goes, do it. You’re running out of time. Nice rooms, nice restaurants, and friendly staff.

Alright, first off, not sure why people throw their hard earned cash away in dark, dingy & smokey basements....... that aside.... It was a nice weekend in Reno thanks to my stay at Harrah's. I had the opportunity to stay in both towers in two separate rooms: West Tower Pros: close to game floor & Starbucks. Great view of Reno downtown. Cons: very stuffy & smokey. Walls paper thin. Hallways are dirty, a pair of tongs & random trash on the hallway floor for several days. East Tower Pros: close to registration desk. Very quiet & beds super comfy. Clean air, clean room and even the hallways were clean. Peaceful night overall. Con: bathroom on 1st floor smelt like sewage. No view. Coffee maker was confusing... maybe it was me, who knows...... long walk to Starbucks from East tower.

Harrah's is currently a shell of its once elusive fashionable trendsetter self. Needless to say, all the greats used to play here. It was once the center of attention in the Reno area. Such influential stars such as the Rat Pack who included Frank Sinatra and Sammy Davis Jr. for which the headliner room is named after. Perhaps I can describe what it was like in the early '80s. In fact, it was as if the famous stars of an era gone by left their vivacity, verve, and vitality, vibrating throughout the whole casino. It was as if the air was filled with the electricity of those who had left there mark on the Hotel and Casino. Upon entering the Casino the atmosphere seemed to electrify creating a magnetic aura of excitement and intrigue. Needless to say, it was as if the hotel had usurped a portion of each individual star's life force and anyone entering the sacred ground could feel their presence in the ambiance. So sad to say it no longer exudes its luxurious atmosphere in any of its surroundings. Of course, my favorite part of this Casino is Sammy's Showroom. Indeed, there are still great shows and performances here. Consequently, I have been here many times over the years and always enjoy the shows.

Terrible...save your money...I am now itchy after reading reviews about bed bugs... 1. Returned back to hotel at 8pm and valet parking was closed, was then unable to find parking in the parking structure. 2. Went to their buffet, got a refund because it was filthy, garbage on the floor, old food along the buffet lines, manager did not care, oh and they were out of plates 3. Went to the Joy Luck Asian restaurant, food was ready at different times, so my husband ate his while I waited for mine. 4. The room they gave us was near a generator? The motor went off every 5-10 minutes, very loud and when asked to move, because I wanted to actually sleep, I was inconveniencing the hotel? By the way the second room they gave us? Could still hear the generator, just not as loud as the room before. It seems like they have just given up completely. SAVE YOUR MONEY or spend a bit more to feel like you aren't going to be on the next episode of Dateline Saturday Night Mystery... "...the last time she was seen on surveillance cameras was walking back to her room..." (if I believed the cameras actually worked, dead serious).
