I don't know how this place is getting such bad ratings. Growing up in an Indiana suburb of Chicago with an Italian grandmother I know good Italian when I see it & this is it! The salad was amazing with super fresh ground pepper that the waitress ground right in front of us. The homemade meatballs and homemade sausage were so soft. The sauce with the sausage and penne was spicy and fresh. Service was quick. The decorations were very similar to Italian households and restaurants...read full review
Food is excellent. However, service needs improvement. One time the server was too busy watching football and today there was only 1 server running around like a chicken with it's head cut off.

It's very sad to see Luciano's go. We truly enjoyed our meals there over the past several years and will miss this place. The food was excellent and reminiscent of classic Northern Italian restaurants.
