I usually come here for a quick slice, but this time the young male employee started violently coughing as I was paying at the counter, enough that he had to walk away for a second. At this point, I assumed the other employee would be handling my food, but no, he just walked right over to the slices and started grabbing them with his contaminated hands. At that moment the manager walked up, and I asked to be refunded and explained the situation. I’m not sure why this employee was even at work, nobody wants to be sick because they eat out somewhere.

I'm not normally into deep dish pizza but I could eat this pizza all the time! I haven't tried anything else yet but I'm looking forward to it. I like the fact that you can eat the pizza in the bar next to it.

Hi everyone I went to this pizza place and the pizza was delicious. I recommend it !!!! Make sure your WIFI is working when you order on line because your order may not go threw they make still charge your credit card so be aware. Other then that the pizza was amazing New York style pizza. I think it was my connection with my phone the reason why my order probably did not go threw

Delicious!! We have been going every since they opened, and it never disappoints! Tonight, we had the Buffalo Chicken ? pizza ? and it was the BOMB! It's like eating chicken wings and cheese bread all together! We have also had the Bee Sting and the Spicy Pie. The crust is always extra cheesy and has a great crunch! The ingredients are fresh, and they have honey and hot honey! Along with the good ranch! If you're visiting Reno and want a good pie, this IS YOUR spot!

Without a doubt my new favorite pizza spot in Reno. We have been driving by this spot for some time but never made the stop to try it. Finally decided to give it a try with my little boy who loves pizza more than anyone else and boy did we enjoy it! Service was great and the pizza was even better! Will absolutely be making my way back often!

The pizza is awesome and the staff is really kind. I usually go for a King Louie and Margherita. Can't go wrong with their ice cream either.

My go to is a slice or maybe two of the Detroit style pizza! They also have a bomb Caesar salad, along with boneless wings with various sauces! You can walk next-door to the loving cup and grab beer, wine or a cocktail and bring over which is awesome that they have a great relationship with one another. For dessert they have custard with several different candy toppings, but my go to is the bourbon cherries with heath bar!
We got the Detroit-style pan pizza to go, and oh my, was it ever delicious! A simple cheese pizza at Lupo's is carefully layered with cheese and an extra dollop of their super well spiced tomato sauce. The crust, not thin, not thick but perfect and crunchy (no soggy, greasy mess here). I only wish they had another location closer to my house in South Reno!

My 18 year old called me up to tell me about a pizza place we haven't tried yet. So we picked up the youngest (13 year old) and headed over. Parking was a challenge (2pm on a Wednesday) but we found a spot after circling the block. We ordered a New York style cheese pizza and boneless BBQ wings. Both came out SUPER fast. Now, full disclosure... we are "those people" who fly to NYC to get our pizza fix in the heart of Times Square. In fact, the three of us last did that back in March. We like to think we know our pizza. I liked the pizza... the sauce still had small pieces of tomato (which I prefer), the cheese was a good blend and had good distribution/melt, and the dough was thin with the crust a good yeast-y chew. We'll definitely come back; thanks all!

Loved the warm atmosphere; smells fantastic walking into the pizza parlor. I had the Spice Pie; the hot honey is super delicious. The pizza was hot when we picked it up. Opened the glorious box to behold a beautiful Pizza. So if you like a dark crispy crust with sweet char taste. This your place.Kid-friendliness: Well the kids I saw in the place looked happy. They did not bother me when I was waiting...

Just ordered the margherita pizza because that is always a good indicator about a pizza place and HOOOOOLY $%@€ that was the best pizza I have had outside of NYC in a very long while. Well done, chef!! I'll be here at least once a week now.

Pizzeria Lupo has been in my bookmarks for awhile but I could never find the time to go. I recently started working super close by and figured this is the universe telling me to get some pizza! I stopped by on my lunch break and was the first customer of the day as it was right at opening time. A cool little pizza joint with an old school flare. Can't go wrong. They offer some solid lunch combos, but since it was my first time I had to go for the heavy hitters to see what we were working with. I got a slice of their New York style pepperoni as well as a Detroit style pepperoni slice. Huge difference if you're not aware before going in. The Detroit style is a thick, square cut slice of pizza that's then topped with a big dollop of fresh tomato sauce. Yes it is as delicious as it sounds. They use the small pepperoni slices on the that cup up in the oven, which is the only way to go, and their cheese and sauce go pretty much hand in hand with that. All this on top of nice, crispy on the outside, chewy on the bite dough that has its own nice yeasty flavor to it. On top of that the ranch is the best style ranch for dipping pizza in and the guys working in the back were friendly. Will be coming back for lunch often!
Really happy when I saw Detroit style on the
