This place would be 5 stars for food/value of food. but the service is crap. If you dont know your order the second you sit down, be prepared to wait 15 minutes. After eating be prepared to wait longer than 20 minutes for the check. I'm not kidding I timed it.

We actually went to Tamarack hoping to eat at the cafe but realized it is being remodeled. Sully's was the only thing open so we had lunch.

Today there was very poor service. The staff hasn't really been trained well & They seem to be short handed. The Chef or Kitchen manager isn't making sure the product going out is of good quality. Very disappointing visit.

Since Carson Valley Inn has taken over, quality of food and taste has diminished. New York steak sandwich is gone, spaghetti is now very bland, hot dip roast beef is not as good as previously. All discounts are gone. This place is strictly average. Life is too short to eat at average places.

First of all if I could get away with zero stars that would be more appropriate. Just left after sitting waiting for someone to take our order for 20 minutes. At least five employees walked by without even asking if we had been helped and one server at least three times. Recently Tamarack changed ownership and things have not changed for the better. Servers and staff are not proactive and you would think that after being closed for 3 months that the customer service would be top notch but not here. We were told by the server that FINALLY came to our table that he did not know our table was his area and when we asked why he didn't ask us if we had been helped he told us that he was not a robot. Well I have to disagree only robots work only where they are programmed, only robots are unable to re-evaluate a situation and be proactive. Sullys had been one of our go to places before Covid but obviously things have changed. Tamarack better get their act together and if they think this is acceptable behavior then I recommend they stop the steakhouse remodel and remove food service from their casino
