Today, for lunch, I had a Torta Cubana, which consists of ham, egg, sausage, milanesa, avocado slices, and tomato slices. This was my second time trying it, and I enjoyed the combination of all the meats together. The bread used in the torta had a unique flavor and was soft with every bite. The flavors of all the ingredients combined were a pleasure to my palate. Additionally, the tortas were made quickly and did not take much time to prepare.I ordered a large horchata large size, I love horchatas, it good taste, not too sweet, and I like the taste of milky and rice combined, ?The prices are fair for the size of the torta. The total was almost $40.00 (two tortas Cubanas, a Mexican bottle of Coca-Cola, and a large horchata.).Better paid cash. otherwise, they charge a certain amount for using your debit card. The sad thing about the tables was dirty. People use them, and the restaurant team doesn't pay too much attention to them, use napkins over the floor, might be sure the weather is right because if it's windy during this time, you gonna freeze and the tortas as well lol.But definitely, I will come back...

I heard it was # 1 in Tortas. So I gave it a try. It is pretty pricey for what you get. The flavors were kind of bland as to what I'm used to. Literally 3 1/2 jalapenos slices and very little Chipotle, some small pieces of bacon, little milanese no beans and very little avocado. Service was awkward. But the place is cute. Maybe I should give it another try one day. Not happy this trip.

This restaurant deserves the recognition it deserves for the best tortas, plus every other menu item. I've went all over reno, sparks, Spanish springs, carson city, lake Tahoe north and south shore, minden and gardnerville and nothing even comes close to Chavo's Mexican Grill. Best food in the Reno Tahoe area. I hope you guys get an even bigger restaurant. You guys are seriously ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ truly amazing.

Food was great. Went in search of a breakfast burrito and came across this on Google. I went with the "porky" burrito, so good. It came with a side of potatoes which were tasty and perfectly cooked.Wheelchair accessibility: There is a ramp for accessibility.

Stopped by this delightful restaurant in an old house on Wells for lunch today.I had a quesadilla with fajita steak and their homemade salsa and a little side of sour cream... Even accounting, for the fact that I had just finished working hard at a noon time martial arts class, this was some of the best, Mexican, American food I've had in many years . I had been in once before to try their tacos... Which were also excellent. Not that long ago, I think this place used to be just a food truck and then they landed a physical location with a bigger kitchen... The food was pretty great before and has now jumped all the way up to amazing and delightful.

I used to love coming here but when the new management came they have the worst customer service. I asked for a plain torta de asada and they made it with avocados, jalapeños and tomatoes. My sister is allergic to avocados and they did not want to remake the torta and said they couldn't do anything about it. Then they proceeded to just wipe off the torta w avocado residue on it. Worst place ever!!! Never coming here again! Do not recommend.

Just visited this spot for the first time and WOW!!! It is delicious. I got their Jamaica tea and 2 tacos - al pastor and chicken. The al pastor was to die for and the chicken was really good too!! I'll definitely be visiting this spot again and soon!!!!

Total spent $29.85- Torta Cubana 7.5/10 Had 4 different kinds of meat which included milanesa, slices sausage (aka hotdogs), chorizo, and ham. This torta had lots of flavors which was good and also a little overwhelming. The bolillo (bread) was soft on the inside and perfectly toasted on the outside.- Torta Al Pastor 6.2/10 Again the bread was the best part of the torta wasn't a huge fan of the meat. Had great flavor but I just didn't get the traditional al pastor taste I was looking for. Least likely to order again.I was also a little confused finding the place because the GPS took me to an outdoor little shack. Once I walked further I found that they have an indoor location.Wheelchair accessibility: Do not have a ramp for wheelchairs from what I saw.
