I’ve been in Reno for work for three weeks, trying different foods, and Bawarchi Indian Cuisine quickly became my favorite. I’ve eaten here multiple times, usually taking food to go, and every bite has been amazing. I’ve tried the Apollo fish, Thalapalattu biryani, goat biryani, Vijayaada chicken biryani, Chicken 555, and rose milk, and everything is full of authentic flavor. The spice can be adjusted to your liking, so everyone can enjoy it. The chef clearly knows their craft, and I’ll definitely keep coming back whenever I’m in town.

Bawarchi is my favorite Indian food restaurant! The people are always super friendly and attentive. The food is lovely and as a vegetarian I love that they have a seperate section for the vegetable curries. Definitely one of my comfort restaurants :)

Appetizers and non-veg curries are good. But dont expect much on biryani (especially if you are a biryani fan) as they are serving pulav rice as biryani.
There's a lot of Indian restaurants in Reno but am always interested in trying different spots to find a new favorite. I love the ambiance of the restaurant, it looks casual fancy but homey if that makes sense. The food was outstanding. My girlfriend and I split the samosas and tried the butter chicken and chicken tikka masala. We also each ordered a mango lassi. Everything was so delicious it was hard to not try to eat everything on the spot. Will definitely be back to try other dishes.
