Food was decent bar food but service, how shall I put this......SUCKED. Waitress brought food then disappeared. We would have had more drinks and waited and waited for over half hour but finally I went into restaurant to find her for check as kids were restless. This was a Thursday afternoon around 230........no excuse. Not busy. Ridiculous.

I moved to Amityville a year ago and received a gift certificate for Toomey's and finally was able to go and use it. I never looked at the gift certificate and when we paid using our gift card we were told it expired 2 months prior. Both the manager and owner refused to allow us to use it. Yes it was expired but only 2 months. I can't believe they would not honor the gift certificate I good faith. Now I will never go back and make sure no I know goes there. The place is a trashy place. Both the owner and clients were drunk. The place was dirty and I also got sick from the food.

Great atmosphere. Terribly understaffed waitstaff. Waitress was a real dud. Best baked clams around. WORST fish and chips I ever had. Great band playing. Reasonably priced. Probably never going back?

The band started to play we ordered drinks and appetizers. The music was good the drinks were good the food was good. It was a great time and will definitely be back. The band that played was burn unit they were really good.!!!

food and staff are great. especially when i witnessed what seemed to be a regular named "debbie" go after two young girls coming out of the bathroom for no reason. the staff handled it wonderfully holding the aggressive woman back allowing the girls to return to their table. it's a shame to see a "regular" of a restaurant disrespect paying respectful costumers!

Local dive bar. Owner and staff always very friendly. Great summer spot to hang and listen to bands. Hard to park a boat unless you're very experienced but fun to watch people who aren't trying to park.
Friendly, Fun place to spend with family or friends, Music added to make it the best..Staff couldn't be better !

My friends and I went to this place on a Sunday afternoon. This was my second time here. The place was packed, but luckily we were able to get a table. We decided to order food and drinks. We ordered wings, nachos, mozzarella sticks, baked clams and steak sandwiches. The food wasn't the greatest and was just mediocre. My friend asked for blue cheese with his wings and when his wings came out they forgot the blue cheese. He had to ask again and waited awhile till he got it. When I ordered my steak sandwich, I asked for sweet potato fries. I instead got regular fries. I told the waitress and she gave me a plate of sweet potato fries on the house. The service in this place was extremely slow that day. My friends and I waited a little over an hour to get our food. When I asked a bus boy about the wait for the food, he said that the kitchen was backed up. Then we waited almost another hour to get the check. My friend had to flag the waitress down just so we could get the bill. Now I totally understand that restaurants (especially this place) get packed over the summer when it's nice out, but then the owner/manager should have enough staff to service everyone within the appropriate time frame. Not sure I'll be going back anytime soon and if I do it'll be only for a drink.
