This place DISRESPECTS the name "soul food". I think I'm going to be sick with all the cheese inside the seafood Mac and cheese ( no visible lobster and only 2 small baby shrimps?.. gave me 4 flavorless greasey fried chicken widgets.= (2 wings) The sweet potatoes are OK but not really yams. They have mashed sweet potatoes people. (Babyfood) cost. $23 dollars .. I really hope winnie see this and make the proper adjustments. Stop disrespecting the culture ?#BF

Great food with friendly service. I’d give Winnie’s five stars if they were more consistent with their offerings. I understand that they’re in the midst of a relocation and look forward to giving them a five-star review when they offer teas, baked goods, etc.

Rasta pasta and wings are always on point. Ordered from here a few times and the food was always fresh and flavorful.

I'm kind of glad I live a 30 minute drive from this place because if I lived a lot closer I think I'd gain some weight lol The soul food here is probably some of the best I have EVER had. I cannot emphasize this any further. The BEST. It's a small little hole in the wall and is very bare bones in terms of decorations and items, but I honestly prefer it that way. I find a restaurant that specializes in only a handful of items tends to perfect those items VS ones that have a menu the size of the Cheesecake Factory dictionary. I had j*** chicken with some collard greens and Mac and cheese. The baked Mac and cheese was nice and gooey but had a little bit of a crispness to it. The collard greens were great as well. Slightly sweet and I think that's what made them even better. The j*** chicken I could talk about forever. Definitely the highlight of this dish. They season it really well and the meat is perfectly tender. Easily can clean the bones off of these things. The staff is so so friendly. You really get that family business vibe here. Overall you bet aslong as this place is standing that I will continue to come

My husband and I traveled really far to get to this restaurant because we wanted some southern cooking. Because I have a strong southern background my husband and I were not impressed with the food. The collard greens had too much sugar in them, and the candied yams had more pineapples than yams. But what really annoyed us what’s the customer service. And someone should notify the rude boy at the register that a red Durag and a white T-shirt isn’t appropriate. He should stay in the back with his bad attitude . Never again

Wanted to treat myself to lunch today however when I arrived at your business the doors were locked. I sat outside a half hour waiting and calling your store. The food was fully on the display from the window, yet no one in the building. I will agree with the other comments stating the employees are extremely rude, As that has always been my experience as well. However I tend to frequent this establishment because the food is good. Today I watched several customers leave your place of business empty-handed and hungry, Y'all really need to get it together!

My bf and I had fried chicken from another place last weekend and was utterly disappointed. Tried this place and I will never order from another restaurant again. We had their j*** chicken, lobster Mac and cheese, fried chicken and corn on the cob. Everything was beyond delicious.

Lobster and shrimp mac and cheese is amazing. J*** salmon was almost too salty. Thd salmon was made to ordee, so i appreciate that. The young gentleman behind the counter was pleasant but not too helpful. I was really annoyed that prices arent listed and there isnt a menu on display. That being said i would definitely go back. Please create a menu with approximate prices. I would have been inclined to try more items if i could see the options instead of them being told to me.

A lot of the food is good.... But I'm here to talk about the Rasta Pasta... love Rasta Pasta but this was by far the worst I've had, the noodles were kool but the chicken was just spicy for no reason... couldn't even finish it, had to throw it out ‍

These people are rude and unprofessional. Food is never prepared on time(sometimes they simply run out) and the staff are always conversing amongst themselves instead of paying attention to customer service.

Since moving from the city to long Island I was on the hunt for soul food and found this place. It was difficult to find when I used my GPS. But overall the wings were ok. The lobster mac was a tad bit spicy which I didn't like. Giving three stars because they ran out of ribs. No corn bread. They only sold cake by the pie not by slice. I wasn't thrilled that I had to wait outside for my Order. The tall gentleman behind the counter was VERY nice. But if those items were available I would have given 5 stars. Maybe I will visit again. I'm 30 minutes away and it was disappointed those items were not available. If you like non spicy mac. Then get the plain mac and cheese. I wish I did that.
