This restaurant was amazing. The owner walks around talking to everyone. He also serves tables their food. He is funny and when the food came it was a perfect match for him. Just great. Hidden gem this restaurant. It's a must go and a have to return.

Eating here for the second time tonight my fiancée and I decided to make it more of a regular go to. If bourbon is your jam get the Bourbon Arnold Palmer, it's delicious. We had the Nashville hot chicken sandwich and the delta double. Both were tasty but the ribs and mashed potatoes with gravy were out of this world amazing!! Also of note the service all around was 100%. Will definitely be making many trips back to explore more of the menu

We happened upon this pleasant bistro on a Sunday evening, attracted at first by the $5 Watermelon Sangria (delicious, light, refreshing). The head server Alejandra was vivacious, charming, and friendly, and remained so throughout our meal. We had crab cakes, she-crab soup, jambalaya, and an exceptional chocolate ganache homemade cake for dessert. To top it off…way out or order, but who cares, another customer turned away grilled oysters in a garlic butter sauce, so our server gave them to us, gratis. Everything was fresh, right-sized, and delicious. A little gem on Ditmars Boulevard. Don’t miss it!

An amazing experience. Must try food and staff was beyond standards. All Astoria restaurants, ALL restaurants should consider taking notes!

First experience with this place and not happy. Ordered delivery. Yes, it was fast around lunch time. Cornbread was good luckily. But those are the only two things I can say that hence the two stars. Ordered fish and chips and was honestly disappointed. $18 for two tiny pieces of fish and cold fries. Not happy.

I got a po boy and Mac and cheese to go. The po boy was great! I wish there was an option to get it on Leidenheimer type bread but I know it's not native to NYC. Mac and cheese was also excellent! Can't wait to try a couple other dishes here!

I've order here a few times on Seamless, but stopped in for a Saturday Brunch and this place didn't disappoint! We were able to pick a table as the restaurant wasn't busy at all, but idk why because the food is on point! The waiter we had was so kinda and helped us make our final brunch choice. I went with the bottomless which is $33 for 1 entree and unlimited Mimosa, Bellingham, Screwdrivers, Well drinks or my Favorite the Raspberry Lemonade Sangria ?. For the entree I got the Southern Belle Bennie with Scramble eggs and I literally ate everything but the salad on my plate. The portions are perfect for brunch and the overall vibe you get here is great. The also have banging dinner options here as well. This is such an Astoria gem that more people need to discover! I'll be back for sure this wasn't the 1st and won't be the last just finally wrote the review they deserve.

The best hidden gem in Astoria! The vintage look, partnered with the keen eye service not only makes this place cozy and welcoming but the food is well above any other restaurant on Ditmars Blvd. Rodrigo always goes above and beyond with his recommendations and amazing service. My fiancée and I come here at least once week for brunch/dinner.

Based on the delicious sounding menu options I expected my party of 8 to be very pleased with their meals, but it turned out be a disappointing dinner overall. Alot of money spent for very lack luster food. Chicken was overcooked and dry, cornbread was hard, one order was incorrect. The only tasty item was the Cajun fries. I can only hope it was an off night. Considering their overall reviews. I won't be returning!

We’ve walked by this place a few times and wanted to give it a try. I grew up in the south and miss the food sooo much. With that being said, I think they missed the mark. I know it’s supposed to be a twist on southern food but we didn’t really enjoy any of it. We ordered cornbread for my son and it was stale, seemed like it was old and had just been heated up. Was not fresh. Sent it back immediately. Ended up getting the guacamole which I thought was expensive for the portion you get $15 (see photo) The Cajun Mac n cheese would have been ok but it was salty. The nachos were nachos. The dirty rice wasn’t really dirty rice. It was ok though. The drinks, server and bartender were great. For the price I expected the quality of food to be better. Mostly disappointed in the cornbread.

Such a great, hidden gem! We’ve walked by this place 100 times and never stopped in. We finally did and we are KICKING ourselves for not going sooner. Fantastic southern comfort food, great cocktails and happy hour! My sister got an amazing dessert in a jar. HIGHLY RECOMMEND! Stop in and ask for Rodrigo. If he makes a recommendation, listen closely. So good, JAMBALAYA!

A delicious and consistently good staple on Ditmars Blvd. Their customer service is phenomenal, and they have the best mojitos I've had in Astoria, at a pretty good deal of $5 during happy hour. The food itself is southern comfort with generous serving sizes, and almost everything comes with a side salad (which I love! Variety is the spice of life right?). My personal favorites are the nola Napoleon and jambalaya for dinner :)

The place was cool inside with funky decor. The drinks were fantastic, and my server was professional and friendly. I was just disappointed with my meal. I might give it another try at a later date.

Great happy hour drinks. Food was great, a sort of modern twist on classic southern soul food. Fried pickles, Mac and cheese, corn bread with maple butter were all great. Fried goat cheese balls were awesome.
