Prison city is always enjoyable. The beer is great and the food always impresses. If you like pork, I suggest trying the brussel sprouts. These photos are from their winter noodle

I am a repeat customer. One of Auburns gems for a place to dine and socialize.

My best friend, my husband and I went there for an event they had in July last year and they had a bunch of vendors, food trucks etc. But the beverages they had on site were amazing! I'm not a huge beer person but man, they were fresh and yummy. It's such a nice atmosphere as well. And friendly staff always

Food is ok. However, the Ramen noodles are far from authentic. The taste was rather bland. The server (James) was terrible. He rushed us to order. I wanted a beer sampler and asked him about their different IPAs. He immediately said, "Do you want me to make one?" I tried to ask him again, but he was making a hand gesture (as if I was talking too much), trying to indicate that I could keep talking to him, but he wouldn't care. He forced me to get his own selections. He was rushing us to order and leave, so he could circulate the table faster. He later told us the night was too busy, etc., in an insincere way. He was also very cocky--at best, he was loud and pretentious. After trying out their beer from Wegmans, we wanted to try this place out. However, we won't return to the restaurant as long as we encounter a server like him again.

The beer was excellent, but the food was not good at all. We stopped in for lunch on Saturday. It was very busy, but we only waited a few minutes for seats at the bar. My burger patty was comically small - WAY smaller than the bun. The fries were soggy, and except for three full-sized fries, all I got were dregs - little pieces of fries. Overall, a very disappointing meal. Not recommended.

Our third or fourth lunch visit here and each one has been very good. Great American pub food options and terrific service. Definitely recommend and we will return!

Wow. Great beer, better food, and fun atmosphere. Beer names were my favorite part. I had the Brussels sprouts appetizer and ahi tuna on potato medallions and it was amazing. Best Brussels sprouts I’ve ever had. Will definitely be back!

The food was not your typical bar food. Everything was sourced from local farms from what I read. It definitely tasted that way! I got one of their salad bowls with salmon and it was amazing. The IPA flight I created was also awesome. Service was great too. Highly recommend this place for everyone!

Kaolin was so friendly and the food was amazing. Can't wait to come back, couldn't get enough of the decor. So fun.

The whole vibe of this place was awesome. We aren't drinkers, so I can't speak to the brewery side of things...but the legit pub feel came thru loud and clear from the punk garage band music to the worn wood floors to the rustic steel boxes holding the napkins & silverware on the real wood tables. Our server was kind and bubbly and friendly. We had the pork fried rice and beef tip plates with poutine as a starter. Everything was SO FILLING and so good! Next time, maybe skip the starter, share a plate, and try dessert.

Been coming here for years and it's always the same amazing experience. My brother lives right down the street so anytime I come to visit, we always make it a point to come here. Great food and service! The pork belly mac & cheese is, chefs ?
