Must be new kitchen staff because the food is amazing been here a few times but this time by far the best . Front of house staff always so inviting and friendly food was always good but this time it just tasted better more seasoning fresher it had all the bells and whistles. 5 stars all across the board will be back soon

Surprisingly great food - awesome and friendly service. Reasonably priced. There's a good mix of local and not-so-loco patrons. Don't be scurred by the over-served/intoxicated customers at the bar - they're harmless and do make good entertainment.

I have no idea how they make their French fries, but they are hands down the best ever on long Island. Their food is amazing. Kudos to the chef/chef's because they are doing everything right. Our family loves southside. I would give them 10 stars if I could. Please give my regards to the owners and chef. Such a great restaurant.

0--Less then one to be honest.... Where to begin? So our family with 4 adults and 5 children came into this establishment to eat at 6 pm this evening with NO ONE in the small restaurant but us, and obviously we got seated very quickly which was lovely and then with a menu quite small and no kids menu waited for over an hour once we placed our order for 4 appetizers that were as hard as my shoe leather and very very small and then waited another almost exactly hour for 5 sandwiches/burgers and FF and a large terrible dry Caesar salad, and ten year old cod that looked like something we had already eaten and lost! By now not only had the 2 hour meter run out but we had to check to see if anyone was working in the back at all because we were ready for McDonald's at this point when the food appeared. So so bad I can't even tell u. Then... we get the bill and she gave us a free appetizer. Whoopie! When u take 2 hours and then charge me for soda for 3 people and a baby of $14.00! One was water! Not even 8 oz cups but still $72.02! You out of your mind! So my husband was going to speak to the woman but she was so rude and nasty he said just let's pay and go but I paid and left the money(cash) UNDER my napkin and in the billfold so it was discreet. Can u believe 2 minutes later she came out and had the audacity to SCREAM at my sisters I stiffed her and she was calling the police and going to put it on Instagram and take our picture of our cars license plate etc etc!!!! Omgosh! just look a****** maybe after my husband went back in and showed her the money under the napkin She should feel as d*** as she was stupid! Not only am I angry, but no wonder no one was there? You should be paying us for having to sit there and pay us our money back for the parking meters space that ran out you took so long! No problem now THIS will be posted everywhere so u can realize what a j*** you are and how silly you look speaking to someone that way when you are at fault. Btw....please tell the Sgt at the Bayshore precinct I said hi he lives in the neighborhood and is a dear fellow. Lol A***********

With Covid in full swing still place was sadly empty on a Sunday night after 9pm when most area spots are closed, a few ppl got takeout while we sat but the service was great, super friendly and accommodating and honestly one of the best Burgers and hand cut sweet potato fries I can recall (although I would skip the sweet dip and go for gravy or ketchup personally but that applies to most swt p fries) luckily they had a turkey dinner special with the gravy those fries were calling for!Great experience in not so great times!
