Napoleon. I mean it was good yes, but did they take one piece of basil and tear it up? I was expecting a little more from such a nice place. I'll have to ask for extra toppings next time.

We have been a fan of this place for years and haven't dined in for a while and thought it would be a fun treat for our kids, but unfortunately the service has completely gone downhill. My family and I went in on a Thursday night around 5pm and the restaurant was empty with 3 staff members decorating for the holidays. Our waitress was inattentive and not very friendly nor was the other staff. We were there for over an hour even though the food took about 10 minutes to make. We heard the kitchen ring the bell multiple times to pick up our pie but the waitresses were too busy talking to each other to be bothered. It took another 20 minutes for us to get the check back and all 3 staff members were involved in ringing the bill in and bringing the check back. Our original waitress never came back to say thank you or goodnight. It was bizarre. We weren't told about specials or offered dessert or cappuccinos. The pizza is delicious which is the only reason we would ever go back but certainly not to sit down again.

Our recent dining experience at The Pie at Salvatore's in Bay Shore was a culinary marvel. From the moment we entered, the tantalizing aroma of freshly baked pizzas enveloped us, promising a memorable evening. Opting to dine inside, we were welcomed by a cozy ambiance and attentive staff, setting the stage for an exceptional culinary adventure. The Sausage and Broccoli Rabe pizza showcased a perfect balance of flavors, while the classic Sausage Pizza and the indulgent Large Meat Lovers Pizza Pie delighted our taste buds with their high-quality ingredients and expert preparation. We also relished a cheese calzone, its gooey center encased in golden, flaky dough. The attention to detail and the use of fresh, top-notch ingredients were evident in every bite, reflecting the restaurant's dedication to culinary excellence. The staff's warm hospitality and the inviting atmosphere added to the overall charm, making our evening at The Pie at Salvatore's truly unforgettable. It's a must-visit destination for anyone seeking an outstanding Italian dining experience.

A long time spot of ours for over 8 years.... Great for family & friends to enjoy nice meal comfortable & nice restaurant, and a great Pie. As well as to go the meatball side is delish & our Greek salad.. The Pizza speaks for its self, not your normal Pie, check them out...Parking: Parking lot around back of restaurant is free, Bayshore main street has paid parking for different hours..Kid-friendliness: There room & both tables & booths,

The staff are incredibly rude. Planned to be a recurring customer but that is off my list. Dont get me wrong the food is pretty good, but it's not worth being treated like that.

Worst pizza I have had. What happened ?This was my go to place when I wanted a brick oven pizza. Extremely soggy and thin pizza. Barely any basil on my pie. So, sad to have to post this.

The ambiance was great! Comfy booth & nice music. The staff were very friendly. Unfortunately we ordered pasta off the limited menu & the special. Both the marinara and the Alla vodka sauces were very watery. The pasta probably wasn't drained because it came out burning hot like boiling water. The big pizza oven looked nice & maybe we should've just ordered pizza!
