Fresh and the tastes here are amazing.

The products are not very good. My family keeps kosher. This is the only kosher bakery for 20 parsecs. I cant believe how expensive and low quality....The rye bread is good. The bakery is clean. Staff are friendly. Prices are a bit crazy.

service is nice but limited, there's always a line.prices are high, equivalent to airport prices.babka tastes like sliced bread with some chocolate in the mix.

been shipping st Gruenbaums for 12 years now and it's gone downhill recently. their cakes and danish are terrible and outrageously priced. their challahs for Shabbat and holidays are awful. got three round chslllahs for Rosh hashana today - 2 plain for over $7'00 each and $10.590 for one with raisins. m$3.00 more for raisins? really? then I wanted a traditional Teblack. for a tiny one they wanted $22.00. I said no way. and the challahs are awful. shame on them.

Everything was delicious. Very fairly priced. Excellent service by the woman at the front. Then going here for years. Look forward to coming back again.

My buddy and I went to the bagel shop across the street the day before. Not fully pleased with their food, we saw Gruenebaum's and decided we'd try it out next time in the area. As fate would have it, we were working nearby the next day. We walked in and the lady in front greeted us. We walked to the back and noticed that's where they make breakfast sandwiches. I didn't know it was a kosher deli, so I was surprised when the cook said they didn't have meat when I ordered bacon with my egg sandwich. I went for tomato, onions and peppers with American cheese on a toasted sesame bagel with butter. My buddy just got an omelet with just tomato and mozzarella. We both got small coffees which smelled burnt when poured into the cup. $23 and change. Totally NOT worth it. The bagel was barely toasted, and I think they may have just heated it on the grill. Not a toaster. It was still soft and incredibly bland. As a matter of fact, the whole sandwich was bland. Usually, the mixture of ingredients would produce some sort of flavor, but not this sandwich. I'm also pretty certain that the cheese used was some sort of individually wrapped processed cheese. The bagel tasted and looked like the type that comes in a bag with other bagels from a supermarket. Wait. There was a bit of flavor in the sandwich. The little piece of corn that must've jumped from its bowl into my omelet. My buddy said the same about his omelet. Bland. They didn't give any salt packets or anything to even add something to make it enjoyable. My buddy picked up the tab, but I feel so bad that he did. I definitely owe him for this one, but it will definitely be somewhere better. I still can't believe how much they charged for this breakfast. You'd expect the most amazing egg sandwich you've ever eaten, for that price. When people tell me about a breakfast spot that makes good egg sandwiches, I usually say that it's pretty hard to make a bad sandwich...well, I found out from Gruenebaum's, it's not that hard.

This bakery degraded so badly over recent years. The pastry is of really bad quality, worse than supermarket quality. Rye bread was decent, now it tastes like sponge. They either changed the recipe or started to use the low quality ingredients. Pity, but I'm done with this place.

Love their bread, always so fresh. It doesn’t become hard after a day as in many other bakeries.

The prices at the restaurant are too high and it took a while for everything to be made, Dunkin donuts is a much better option

$17.50 buys a 9" babka without flavor Shockingly mediocre and outrageously expensive.

I shopping from this bakery many- many years ago .They have the best rye bread with and without seeds. Always fresh! I love the lady who so friendly with everyone, all the time! Cheese danish also fabulous, and all other pastries, cakes ,rolls, and bagels! It’s a Jewish bakery they made fresh baked challah.Very pricey but still my favorite bakery in Riverdale!

The bagels are big and excellent . I usually match with lox cream cheese. It's the real deal.
