New ownership ruined this place. It has a bigger identity crisis than a confused 13 year old. It's an Irish bar that closes early, has no liquor license, and has salsa nights.If you're going to go here, at least go on a Monday.

I always LOVE coming here for the live music and events! However, since the new ownership, a lot of things I once loved about this bar have taken a turn for the worse. The new bartenders always seem very confused and inattentive. It’s really hard to get a drink, so now I usually order two at once to save myself the time. On several occasions they have lost track of my debit card, or completely forgot that I had given it to them in the first place. There have been times I ask to close out my tab and they bring me a receipt but not my card. All the beer on tap is also consistently flat and does not taste fresh, so I just get bottled beer instead. It was never this way before, there should definitely be a quality check for the tap beer selections

This has been a place I have come to on and off for years. Unfortunately I didn't know that they are under new ownership and learned quickly. Either the bartender didn't know how to make the drink I asked for or just gave me what they wanted because I received the wrong drink. When I asked for a different mixed drink, I was told they were out of cola to mix. Honestly have never had an experience where a bar ran out of cola so I just asked for a bottled drink. In terms of the food options, there are limited selections compared to the previous menu and perhaps the chef is still figuring things out as the food needed more flavor. I would be willing to give them another try in a few months so gauge improvement as perhaps the new owners don't have experience running a bar/grill.

One of the great bars in Pelham Bay and looks very promising under new ownership! Been coming for over 10 years and will continue supporting this fine establishment that's become a fixture of the neighborhood.
