My family and I were celebrating my uncle’s 52nd birthday and when we asked him what type of cake he wanted and he said carrot cake. My sister who has been patronizing this business for many years suggested Lloyd’s. As a person who does not care for carrot cake i must say this cake was DELICIOUS!!

One of the best, or the best carrot cakes I ever had. I was skeptical coming here bc I love my carrot cakes with an additional layer of frosting in the middle, but I kept hearing news about this spot so gave in, and I must say, WOW. So much flavor. So moist. So nutty, and the raisins! ?I will be honest tho, I loved the frosting, and with that being said, it was a disservice not to have that additional layer of frosting. It was very much needed, atleast for me. All their other cakes have that layer in the middle, so not sure why these don’t. If it did, this cake would probably would be ranked the best ever :) Maybe next time I go, I’ll ask them for additional frosting ???

I ordered 2 slices of carrot ? ? from this restaurant and both slices got destroyed. The cake was very moist and the cream cheese topping was good. They give you a nice size slice for the price. I definitely will recommend this place to friends and family. Support this business.

GOAT in terms of service and the cakes! the employees are all so sweet, and the cakes are to die for. i bought their classic carrot cake for a dinner party and it was a hit! i’m definitely coming back here for all my party cake needs :)

The quality of Lloyd’s Carrot Cake has gone way down. Customer service is lacking at best, sanitation seems to have gone out the window, cakes are sloppy and poorly decorated. I am a longtime customer so I say this with a heavy heart. The last couple of times I went there the center of the carrot and pineapple coconut cakes were greedy and unbaked. Other times the cake was dry. The quality of the product is never consistent. The last straw was a birthday cake order for my daughter. I requested cream cheese frosting for a red velvet cake and got what looks and smells like butter frosting. I live not even 15 minutes from the store but when I got home the frosting had melted and the happy birthday inscription was stuck to the top of the box. This is winter time so this should not have happened. The frosting should have been set. I concluded that they must have frosted the cake while it was hot or warm because the cake was not ready when I went to pick it up and noticed that they had the cakes outside on a window sill trying to get them to cool quickly. I would also like to note that this is next to a busy street with non stop traffic. It is now the day after and the frosting is still soft even after refrigeration. I gone way no clue why that is. I hate to image what I might find when my daughter cuts this cake. This is not living up to the high standards Loyds has set for itself over the years.I have to find another place to order my cakes. What a disappointment!!!

I am so disappointed. I been coming here since my 20. This is the first time in a couple of years. The slice was big could feed two people but it no longer has a wild factor. That taste that keeps you wanteing more and it has a slight baking soda taste afterwards. It was moist it had just came out so it was still warm they were rushing cause the frosting was all over. The frosting was super sweet did not pair well with the carrot cake needed more cream cheese. I will post pictures in a little while. We won’t be back.

The staff is unprofessional & rude. They did not make my cake (I ordered in advance and came to pick it up when they told me to), did not apologize & were plain rude to me in their communication. They were not rude in response to me because I only said “ok” as I was a bit shocked that the cake was not ready so I was quiet.
