Not sure which is worse - the food, the price or the owner. Terrible catering experience that ruined my mother’s 60th surprise party. They delivered the wrong dish and what I can only describe as lasagna ‘soup’ - picture below. It was a terribly embarrassing ordeal. When I called the day after to try and get the 2 wrong / inedible items refunded the staff and owner called me a liar and refused to make any refund or slight gesture of being sorry (despite sending them photographic evidence). The food that was delivered correctly was mediocre at best. Save yourself the trouble and order elsewhere for an event. Arthur Avenue is filled with tremendous food and businesses. Really nasty people here!

I like the quality of food they serve. If not the best this is one of the best delis I've been to.

Nice sandwiches but don't go if you care about social distancing or staying safe! Counter people had masks around their chins, no effortto control the line of people ordering and paying. My order was taking a long time and I realized I should not be standing shoulder to shoulder with other customers, some wearing masks on their chins. I asked for my money back or the sandwich, but was kept waiting so I left. They can have the $8.75, I won't go back and people trying to stay safe should think twice. It's disgusting that management of this well-known business can't do what so many others are doing to show some respect for everyone's health.

Delicious sandwiches at the infamous Mike's Deli. My friend finally took me to his favorite deli and it did not disappoint. We ordered the famous eggplant parm sandwich ($12) and we created our sandwich with chicken cutlet, mozzarella, prosciutto, roasted peppers, onions, pesto and balsamic ($15). Both sandwiches came with a small pesto pasta salad which was a nice addition to the meal. The sandwiches are rich, extremely filling and satisfying. I will definitely return when I'm in the area.

They have the audacity to name a sandwich as a all American hero sandwich after Trump. He is a draft dodger and far from a hero. He's a con man and racist do not patronize Mikedeli. He also was known to call our vets, losers and suckers. Fuck Mikes Deli!

I was actually excited to go here because I follow them on instagrm and the posts looked so good but when I got there Staff wasn't wearing masks while preparing food, floors were dirty . Sandwiches were small and disapointing. I've been to better Italian delis in Westchester. Mike's turned out to be not up to the hype.Maybe it was better before corona. Definitely won't be going back.

Service is great. Yelp/Grubhub preorder had the estimated pick-up time at 40 minutes or so, but I stopped in right after placing order, and it was ready in 10. Got a strawberry prosecco sample while waiting. Everyone had masks on inside the Arthur Avenue Retail Market. Food was great. Fresh, tasty, and great portions. Rice ball is ginormous. Though the menu entry says "rice balls," it's one rice ball about 1.5x the size of a baseball. The rice ball is not firm so expect to sit down and eat it with a fork. I recommend the Il Montone Ram Special (eggplant, chicken cutlet, prosciutto, etc.). It was even better next day oven-toasted.

This place is amazing. The portions are huge and the service is great. Best Italian sandwich I have ever had in the US. Also the grilled vegetables are tasty... especially the eggplant, sun-dried tomatoes, and mushrooms. Definitely worth a trip to the Bronx. Plus they gave us free Prosecco with our meal!
