Never been to German restaurant but really liked this place. I tried the cod fish sandwich and lemonade and really enjoyed it. My family members ordered the beer and wouldn't stop drinking it. They liked the chicken and waffles- they said the waffles were soft and meat was juicy. Hardly like chocolate but decided to try it since they were out of the apple strudel. It was creamy and not as sweet as other cakes. Definitely enjoyed the lovely dessert. Will come back again!
Pretty good place close to Barclays, but some less stars because the schnitzel is pork(not the veal you'd expect) was very good though, the server had zero personality (too bad), the place has a bar atmosphere (hence the beer garden).Have a pretzel, it's so good and a perfect match with a German brew... The place itself is nice. However, my friends and I didn’t appreciate the blonde server’s attitude. After we ordered our first drinks she kept coming back to our table and putting pressure on us to order more, shortly after the first order. One of us said “I’m good for now, will wait a little bit” and she displayed a very bad face expression right after. It certainly made us all feel uncomfortable.
