I should've read my review before coming to this place. After Covid-19, I thought I'd give it another try but oh boy! How disappointing! This place is really on the decline. The salad was very poor quality and the customer service was the worst. I wonder what happen to the old staff that was friendly and accommodating. On top of that, they overcharged me $13.30 for a salad that was advertised for $8.99. Given this and my last review. I will no longer support this business.

Don't even waste your time. After the pandemic, Cafe Metro, the once bustling lunch spot is a sad failure. Stopped by today for their famous chopped salad. My first clue was that the salad line, that usually has long lines was EMPTY. I proceeded to order a Spinach salad with toppings (no meat). When we got to the point of chopping the salad, I was told AFTER the salad dressings were placed in that there were no longer chopping salad. Salads with big chunks of greens is so unappealing to me. No, thank you. I typically frequented Cafe Metro in the city, but this location is a BIG DISAPPOINTMENT.

I can only comment on breakfast since that's when I go but this place is overpriced and does not give a lot of food. Breakfast sandwich says two eggs but it's clearly not two and now they just increased prices. I get it, businesses were suffering but over 4 dollars for a bagel with cream cheese? No thanks

The staff was very RUDEEEEEE!!!!! Upon leaving the store, the Hispanic woman at the register was impolite and had a attitude for some reason,very unprofessional... I was with 2 other people in which she gave them a paper and plastic bag then put mines in a paper only knowing it was kinda heavy...pushing it towards me saying next customer... Wish I didn't pay for my food already cause I would have walked out and went somewhere else because paying customers shouldn't have to go thru these experiences when spending money...

Absolutely terrible experience. Ordered a California panini and asked three times to get the sandwich heated. The worker looked me in the eye and said ok. And when I got my sandwich it was still cold. I spoke with the worker again and he agreed to heat it and when I got it back- still cold. Took a bite of the sandwich and it only had two slices of avocado. They display the sandwich and it look like there was a lot of avocado but it's only the front the panini that had the avocado. It cost about $10 and the service is just terrible and the sandwich itself was terrible. Never again!

On the Myrtle Street Promenade in Metrotech Center, this is a great place for breakfast. Eggs are prepare the way you wish. There is a choice of beef sausage, bacon, regular sausage, ect. Eggs come with home fries and toast (your choice of bread). Coffee is good as well. Lunch options are huge from salads, sandwiches, wraps, etc. There is seating inside and outside as well.Staff is friendly and quick Prices are very reasonable.
