$7 for the tiniest little mocha. It was decent but not worth the cost. I can appreciate what they do in the coffee space. I just don’t find the quality to be worth it yet.

Sesame latte is not worth to drink.

First time trying The Coffee Project in Brooklyn. It is fantastic! Perfect place to work, there are plenty of outlets if you need to charge your laptop; also there is a good amount of seating, so even if it is busy you will probably find a spot. I arrived at 7:30am, there was only one other person, it is now 8:05am, and almost every table is taken. But still lots of counter/bar seats! I ordered a cappuccino with skim milk, probably the best Capp I've had in Brooklyn, and I've had a TON. Also, most (if not all?) of their pastries are vegan, and excellent. (in other words.... they don't taste vegan). Highly recommend!!Vegetarian options: A lot of Vegan pastry options!Dietary restrictions: A lot of Vegan pastry options!

Very friendly coffee shop however the coffee didn't live up to the price and expectations. The nitro cold brew had a bitter almost old taste to it and the black sesame latte while interesting was a little too strongly sesame flavored. The avocado toast was quite good however.

An interesting coffee shop, the biggest draw has to be that it is a quite chill place just a few steps from a busy thoroughfare. The food is good, but a bit on the pricey side. The coffee, and other drinks, are great, a pretty good selection with some inspired options. But some of those options are expensive.

Almost hidden coffee shop on Rockwell placeThe cappuccino is legit. Creamy and smooth. 8/10 worth it.Black sesame latte is decent 7/10Definitely has flavor but not that strong and the bottom of your cup will be clumpy.Yemen coffee is very floral and fruity in flavor but also very expensive. It’s the best black coffee if you’ve never had it. 7/10

Hands down the best coffee in the area. Flavorful and aromatic coffee, space to sit and work, staff that’s knowledgeable about and interested enough to answer questions and make suggestions. This is my go to when I’m in this area.

Waited 15 min to get served on off peak hours (only 2 customers in front of me when I arrived) and the latte tasted burned. Probably just bad timing/luck for me considering all the good reviews but it's annoying for a $6 drink.

Favorite coffee spot in the neighborhood - very friendly and excellent filter coffee. They offer a $15 pour over which is ridiculous but speaks to their coffee enthusiasm. I’ve never seen anyone order it. Great almond butter toast!

We may be biased based on proximity but this is our favorite coffee shop. Always fresh coffee, friendly staff and we love buying their fresh coffee beans to also make at home.

Great place to have a good coffee. Friendly staff, nice atmosphere, free and fast wi-fi. Early in the morning is the perfect time to pass by and have a great coffee and do some work or studies stuff. Comfortable tables with power outlets.

True coffee professionals in NY are hard to come by simply because baristas can’t survive in this city. Britney and Luis were exceptionally well-informed about each coffee’s flavor profile and process. I had the Gesha Village which was brewed perfectly with no astringency.Excellent customer service tied it all together. Great job hiring exceptional staff to showcase exceptional coffee.

During a recent visit to New York, my partner and I visited this place three times. The first time, we just had a flat white each and we were really happy with the friendly service and the quality of the beverages. The coffee was creamy and sweet with pretty latte art on top.The second time we came by, the coffee was less well prepared but we didn't mind too much.On the third visit we made the mistake of wanting to have breakfast there. We both ordered the egg muffin, which was by far the worst dish we ate during this visit to New York.As we sat there waiting for the food to come, we head the kitchen lady microwave two things, presumably our dishes, which already set off alarm bells. When the food came it was quite literally inedible. The muffin was bland and tasted like dust in your mouth. It had no seasoning, no spice, nothing.I can appreciate that you might need to offer a more compact menu when you don't have a full on kitchen at your disposal but this was nothing short of an insult.
