Reviews for Edy's Grocer

When I saw that Maria’s deli (the formed occupant of the space) had closed I thought we would be getting another Jamba juice or something awful, but Edy’s is a wonderful replacement for one of my favorite neighborhood spots. Really fresh food and tried and tested recipes make this place a standout and a gem on Eckford St.

Edy's Grocer has great food + coffee that you can get to go or snag a table outside. My favorite man’oush was the Lebanese cheese, aleppo pepper, and honey. The Za’atar chicken salad was amazing as well. They have a lot of grocery staples that are hard to find in the area too.

I love the idea of this place and it’s very cute but a bit overpriced for what you get compared to some similar neighborhood staples. Also would be nice to have the option of heating the food if you’re staying. Cold meatballs aren’t great. Empanadas are a delicious, reasonably priced and good breakfast option.
