I do not know if I have the words to express how special The Sunday in Brooklyn team made my bridal shower. Every single person who helped planning from Paige and Cassandra, to Polina the GM, made sure that everything ran not only smoothly, but perfectly, and were beyond attentive. No one ever had an empty drink and our hearts and stomachs were so full. Truly, I do not know how to thank the entire staff enough for everything. It was the most magical, special, and beautiful night of my life - every single detail was immaculate.Again - no words will ever express my gratitude for the team and venue. It really was the true definition of what hospitality should feel like, and I have heard non stop compliments from everyone who was in attendance about the service, venue, and all of the perfect details.Pure magic - endless gratitude for A Sunday in Brooklyn! ♥️If you are thinking of having an event here, don't think, just do! You will not regret it.

Great spot for a date night! We sat outside in the greenhouse, which we would have sat inside since it looked cozier. Cocktail selection was excellent, a little something for everyone! We had the oysters which were large and fresh! The lasagna and the spaghettini. We would order both again! Very delicious! The lasagna was the star of the show for me. Nice smoky flavor, plenty of bolognese sauce and the perfect amount of cheese!

We managed to snag a semi-outdoor patio seating here despite my partner not realizing we could make reservations. Sunday in Brooklyn is the perfect mix of hip, slightly moody (almost 90's in the coolest sense) atmosphere yet purely delicious food fare. One of my favorite things had to be the blunt, slightly dark humored animal art portraits in the bathroom. It had to be the most New York comments I saw for weeks (photo included). The staff was professional, polite, and full of amazing recommendations. We ordered the shakshuka and the stack of enormous, fluffy pancakes amongst other brunch offerings. We were not disappointed in the least, and plates were scraped clean within an hours. You should definitely splurge on the orange juice too: it was freshly squeezed. If you happen to land a spot in their semi-private patio seating, you'll be able to use some of their potted herbs (rosemary and basil amongst others) in your dishes. What a treat!

There are no words to explain what an incredible experience it was to have my wedding dinner at Sunday in Brooklyn. From the planners that answered every question about menu and setup to the team we had that evening offering impeccable service…literally every aspect was perfect. We had an intimate 35 person wedding dinner here and it made our day unique and special. The space is so chic and comfortable, the staff was A+, our event manager was a gem. I don’t have enough good words, but it was beautiful and everything I wanted for my day.

Best engagement party venue ever! Everything was perfect - the Sunday Events team handled cocktails, wine, delicious food, and breathtakingly beautiful decor - all we had to do was smile and enjoy spending time with our guests! In addition to being one of the best restaurants in NYC, Sunday in Brooklyn also has several gorgeous rooms for private events - we ended up taking the whole restaurant but I know there are smaller rooms available as well. It was so perfect we would have used Sunday Events for our wedding venue too if it wasn't booked.

Thanks Yelpers for another lovely brunch recommendation. (This is a delayed review)We stopped in on a beautiful Monday for some fantastic brunch. Everything was yummy and full of flavor. We chose to get the hazelnut sauce in the side and for us that was a perfect choice for our taste. The sauce is great we just prefer a little less of it. This may be one of the best pancakes I have ever had. The avocado toast was phenomenal too! 10/10 recommend!

This is a really cute spot for breakfast brunch or lunch! If you're planning on coming during the weekend, consider making a res as a vis place tends to get really busy. They're famous for their pancakes - which are delicious and definitely worth ordering a side of to share with the table. These babies are THICK so one is definitely shareable for 2-3 people if you just want a nibble. Other great options are their avocado toast (surprisingly spicy - in a good way!) as well as their burger.

I first came to Sunday in Brooklyn because it was recommended as one of the best, well decorated restaurants during the Christmas season. I have to agree that the decorations were incredibly charming and was the perfect place to go to get into the holiday spirit. If you choose to go during peak meal time, it can be incredibly crowded and may be difficult to fully enjoy the ambiance/ decorations. I only went for brunch with a group of friends. The food had a lovely presentation. My vegan friends stated that they appreciated the variety of options they could choose from and that they were able to sub/ eliminate items. All of us were satisfied with our food but felt it may be overpriced for what it was. The service was wonderful and they were very attentive to our table, despite it being a very crowded restaurant.

Finally carved out to try the acclaimed sunday in brooklyn brunch spot on a weekday. There was only one spot at the bar or outside for a party of 1 on a weekday at 2pm surpringly! Masal chai - well spiced, flavorful, would get again.Shakshuka 4/5 - honestly erred on the saltier side and def benefited from having that tender, warm and crispy piece of bread that is served with it. Also if you want a runnier egg make sure to pop your eggs early cause they'll keep cooking in the shakshuka. Deliciously tomatoey, umami, sweet, tangy and hearty otherwise! ****Sunday pancake: this was the star of the show, 5/5. Get this no matter what if you're coming here. It was tenderly crisp, fluffy on the inside, sticky sweet glaze that was rich and sweet but cut by saltier, fattier components. The sweetness builds up for sure but it's still reigning as one of my favorite pancakes in NYC ever!
Underwhelming and overly pricey. Super cute ambiance but that's about it. * Shakshuka: just a lot of tomato sauce not much flavor * Grain Bowl with the smallest portion of salmon. Mediocre just a few ingredients placed next to each other* Pancake: best part of the meal but know it's VERY sweet Make reservations early

Highly recommend for breakfast or brunch! We came here on a weekday brunch and it was packed. We ordered some brunch cocktails and two breakfast entrees -- omelette and grain bowl. Both were tasty and pretty filling.

Not going to lie, but often I find brunch places in New York overrated or too expensive. But Sunday in Brooklyn was the perfect blend of aesthetic and tasty food! The prices were also not that different from restaurants in Central Jersey. The Sunday Pancake was so delicious and sweet, but this may not be a good fit for people not fond of sweets. Even for me, who has the biggest sweet tooth, I'd have to share a single pancake with multiple people. I don't recommend getting the stack of 3 unless you have a huge group or several heavy eaters lol. The Shakshuka was a perfect portion for me and came with a soft foccacia that balanced the tomato sauce. It was soft on the inside with the right amount of crunch. The service was super kind and let us get a seat an hour before our reservation because there was plenty of space! If you ever find yourself in Brooklyn, make sure you make time for this restaurant!

Went back to SIB and was absolutely blown out of the water. Last time I sat outside in their outdoor seating area. This time I sat in a lovely indoor corner booth. The hostess was warm and inviting (didn't get her name but she was wearing a red silk shirt) and our server was immensely kind. Previously I did not try their TM pancakes. This time around we got 1x pancake ($17 for one pancake). Although we didn't finish the entire thing (because we got so much food). I was absolutely surprised with how much I loved them. I thought it was chocolate on top - it's not! More like a sugar maple glaze! I'm a huge cappuccino fan and their coffee is Biscuits and gravy were absolutely insane. I got the poached eggs on the side and added an order of toast. My date got a breakfast sandwich which was also out of this world - Bacon egg and cheese with hash brown inside of the sandwich! 5/5. I'll be back soon!! This place is incredible and as I'm writing this my mouth is watering. I'll be back SIB.
