Nice place for Middle Eastern food that does not appear like a fast food restaurant. I tried the hummus and other dips. Definitely better then the ones you buy at the supermarket. Very pleasurable. I was there for a weekday lunch. I do not know how it is dinner time. This new restaurant in Bay Ridge adjacent to Ovington Avenue on 70th Street and 3rd Avenue may be a new success story. Try it out and see if it is consistent as it was when it was basically empty.
The tangines we had were great. Atmosphere isn't a big player here, it's like a strip mall diamond in the rough. Great service, and really tasty food. They do mix pasta in with the rice so keep that in mind if you're gluten free. Not many vegetarian meal options, but the appetizers are vegetarian/vegan-friendly. Great, definitely reccomend!

Food was great and service excellent, when we enter the tv was on real loud and I thought "oh no, that's gonna be so annoying " but as soon as we sat down the waiter muted it and put some nice Arabic music. The food arrived fast and nicely portioned.
