This location is no longer Grimaldi's, but my wife and daughter enjoyed it immensely regardless. The waitress was punctual and very kind to our little one, and the food was fast and delectable. Will definitely visit again next time we are in the neighborhood!

Pizza is great. Atmosphere is great. The only problem I have is the last time I went it’s cash only. When you go for a meal with more than one person the bill gets higher than the amount of cash I tend to keep on hand. This means I have to use the very expensive ATM on the premises. I hate to do it but I can’t help but to subtract the ATM fees from the tip.

Decent pizza. Not as great as I had been led to believe, but not bad. Staff was friendly. I would reccomend to someone that really wanted charcoal cooked pizza.

I love this spot! They serve fantastic food, their menu is large, The cook in that place is very experienced, I like a lot tasting all their food. The dishes are always of high class, the attitude towards the customers is efficient. I frequently visit this restaurant and I was never disappointed. I recommend it to all my friends.

It's cash only and they do a great job making it clear as soon as you walk in. Pizza has fresh ingredients and is priced correctly but I was rushed when it was only myself and another table with a full cup of beer and a few slices left. The bill also included an automatic tip which I didn't mine when it's a lower percentage then I normally tip.

Went inside in the dead of winter, place was was empty, was about to sit down and there's the sign CASH ONLY. Gimme a break, it's 2020 people, no one carries cash anymore. But they want you to use that suspicious looking ATM in the front. If it's the credit card fees you're worried about charge 3 percent across the board on your menu and give a cash discount. Don't understand it. Coney Island is slow in the winter I would think you would like to have some more business and avoid the same fate as the other establishments closing on surf avenue.

Absolutely amazing. Their pizza tastes like it was flown in from Naples, because it tastes as remarkable as it is there. It is not like any other pizza you have tasted before, the sauce is rich and red and the cheese is amazing and delicate. You won't expect how good this is. This is the only pizza that my family eats since coming from Napoli. I have been going here for a very long time, and if you want a true, highest quality Italian pizza, this is the only place to go.

After visiting the NY aquarium on a rainy day, we slid into Grimaldi's for lunch. It's cash only, but they do have an ATM right by the front door (inside the restaurant)

My Cousin and I literally just got back an hour ago. Decided to Get pizza for lunch and we were very pleased, food was amazing we had small pie half with mushrooms half with extra cheese/pepperoni (I dont even like pepperoni, but their pepperoni is MmMmm) it was soooo good ( not your average NYC Pizza) definitely coming back! I knew what to Expect for my cousin on the other hand it was his first time and he head over heels about this pizza. Stuff was good positive energy, was served and helped by Both waitress, looks like they have a good team work going on???

I drive by tonight order pie it was just ok no cheese favorites I don't recommend order again in here. I haven't complain about the food but the service was so horrible there is no one refill the water or ask you how was the food. i had 28$ totally cash I didn't know it cash only, so this lady told me to go outside ATM grab a cash I was like I had 28$ the bill was 30$. I told her why there is 18% automatic service charged no one refill my water. I won't come back again it was cold tonight I need to walk to the bank grab cash

Went on New Year’s Eve after a day of sightseeing, hadn’t eaten & not much open on Coney Island at the time, so thankfully they were open for an early dinner. The hostess/waitress told us they were warming the oven so it’d be 30-40 min for a pizza, which we were fine with. The Caesar salad was great. But, after the pizza was served, we really weren’t checked on. I’d finished my lukewarm coffee long ago, & really would have liked some water, but the waitress was in the corner on the cell phone, eating, I don’t know... Difficult to get their attention. The pizza overall was not as good as another one of their locations we used to have in our town. I don’t care for the tiny pepperonis. It would be helpful too if they accepted cards & not just cash. I’m sure other locations are good, I just wouldn’t recommend this one.
