Met a couple friends for dinner here last night. It was one of those rare occasions where I did not read any reviews or look at the menu online so I had no idea what to expect. The guacamole was ok. The dumplings were better. I ordered the duck fried rice and it was delicious. The shrub cocktail made an excellent pairing with the fried rice. Looking forward to my next meal there.
Great spot. Usually the bacon is killer delicious melt in your mouth. Unfortunately the bacon in the breakfast tacos was too chewy and tough last time. I really hope you haven't changed. Great service

I am generally unimpressed with run of the mill brunch places serving overpriced omelets and coffee. Madcap is neither overpriced nor run of the mill. The menu is full of exciting items, but more than anything I'd recommend getting the blueberry pancake skillet. It's really as tasty as it looks. The edges are crispy and the inside nice and fluffy.
