Everything was wonderful, no lie! We had steak frites, chicken liver pate, fried chicken and Mac and cheese that was so good it made me cry a little. The rest of the menu looks great, will be back soon.

Went there tonight for the 1st time, I started with the bone marrow appetizer. The buttered bread was delicious and the 2 bones were on the small side but very tasty, there was a little to much salad for my taste but I would definitely recommend it. I then had the shrimp Po boy, to my surprise it came as an open faced sandwich on a roll that was more fit for a small lobster roll, which is also on the menu. The thing about a true Po boy really is about the fresh baguette, crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside. Granted in our little town of Callicoon it would be difficult to get such a delicacy but they could have tried a little harder. So because the roll was to small you couldn't make a real sandwich without having to perform surgery on the components that were provided. After cutting up the extremely large but tasty tomato and trying to fold the rest of the ingredients into the very small roll I had a mess but it was tasty. We also had the steak, which was cooked perfectly and had a lot of flavor and a side of the Mac and cheese which was also good. Unfortunately like everywhere they were short staffed and the 2 waitresses we're hustling the best that they could but the place has a bar and no bartender so that made for the already over taxed staff even more stressed. If I could give a half star this review would be a 3.5 because the food was tasty and the staff really friendly. The prices were a little high but I will go back.

Nice place, Good Food, Great, Made to Order Bloody Mary

The Raleigh is located in the spot where Matthew's on Main used to be. Had a great late lunch here one day. They have deck seating in addition to the bar and dining room indoors. I shared an order of shishito peppers, then had the Sullivan county farms burger with truffle fries. Service was a little slow (they were clearly understaffed, as most resistant in the state are at the moment) but the food was all very tasty.

April is an amazing host and always makes my experience there quite enjoyable. Chefs on point, wonderful portions and high quality meals. Ten stars!

Such a shame! Been here twice. The service is TERRIBLE! but the food is AMAZING! Such a contradiction. They really need to hire more people or the manager or owner should be there since it seems like the 2 girls are running the show. They're running around the place like crazy, trying their best, constantly apologizing for the MASSIVE delay on EVERYTHING, one girl was definitely crying in the bathroom, but once you get your food, you forget it all. Just has such great potential to do so much better. We wanted more drinks and dessert but we figured it would take too long. the Mac and cheese, fried chicken, lobster roll, NY Strip Steak are all amazingly delicious.

We had a nice time at the Raleigh. The bartender and waitresses were great. The decor is understated and chic. The food was good. Not wow, but good. We had the burrata, steak frites and local pork chop. We would definitely return for the atmosphere/staff and would try some other items on the menu.

Food was good but the service was very mixed. Bartender from Damascus was very good but others, not so much. Served prosecco warm! Needs better management.

Food was absolutely delicious and our server Anna was friendly and greeted us with a smile and was very attentive to our needs!
This review is a little late, as we were there a few weeks ago... we had been in the area for a bittersweet occasion and it's taken a bit to get myself caught up. I was there with my husband for dinner on our last night before heading home after an emotionally charged 3 days. The moment we walked in we knew this was going to be a good experience. We were greeted by the (owner? manager?) with a warm, booming welcome. We were seated in the sleek, modern dining room and our drink order was immediately taken. It appeared that there was only one server (who was poised and charming and handled the workload like a seasoned professional) and the likeable owner/manager working the entire front of the house. They seamlessly worked together the whole time we were there to take care of the entire restaurant, each of them doing whatever job was needed at the time. Despite this, from our perspective, there wasn't a single lapse in service. The food! Everything we ordered was totally delicious - I had the shrimp curry and my husband had the fried chicken, both of which were great, but these were the standouts: (1) the Burrata appetizer, so fresh! Served with toasted baguettes and pesto - the perfect appetizer (2) the Truffle fries - the truffle flavor was easily appreciated. So often you order truffle fries and can't taste even a hint of truffle flavor - not the case with these fries - the truffle was front and center in the most pleasant way. (3) the local beer that my husband tried (twice! LOL!) Neither of us remember the name of it, but he recommends trying it! Overall, this place was a win - great food, good prices, relaxing atmosphere and super friendly staff. I very much recommend you give it a try!

I really wanted this place to be great. The ambience is nice but I've now been twice and it has been subpar. The first time we went, the service was lacking and our food came out cold (the rice with the curry shrimp is ALWAYS cold and crunchy). We thought they were just having an off night coming out of the pandemic. We went back a month later and the same problems persist. For a restaurant that charges the prices they do, the quality and service don't match.

This place is so cute. Love the decor. We went here last week and our server Olivia was amazing. Super sweet and friendly. The food was outstanding. I had the pork chop which was cooked perfect. This place is NYC quality in a small town. If you are in the area you have to stop in and try them.
